Meowscarada's moveset focuses on getting the most out of Meowscarada's Grass typing, utilizing both physical and special moves.

Flower Trick's 100% chance of hitting and scoring a critical hit make it useful if Meowscarada has its stats lowered, while Giga Drain will allow you to stay healthy while dealing damage. Although Leaf Storm's drawbacks prevent you from using it liberally, its high base power makes it a great choice regardless. Grassy Terrain will not only boost the power of all of your moves but also provide a healing option for both you and your allies.

While already having a high base Speed stat of 123, focusing on an Attack build Meowscarada can take advantage of its swiftness by executing moves that can 1HKO enemies on its first turn. This can be done by giving it a Miracle Seed, setting its Nature to Adamant, and providing accurate high power moves like Flower Trick and Energy Ball.

Terastallizing it into a Grass-type allows it to stay on the field against its common checks, particularly Fighting and Water-types that can take advantage of its original Rock-typing.

Dondozo in Doubles is a great tank, especially if it gets the boost from Tatsugiri. Terastallizing it into a Grass-type allows it to effectively check Electric and Grass-types that can otherwise wall and even KO it.

Best Tera Type for Grass-type Pokemon

Grass Tera Type

SV - Breloom -Grass Tera Type.png

Letting Grass-type Pokemon have a Grass Tera Type allows them to launch stronger STAB with its Grass-type moves when Terastallized.

Additionally, some dual-typed Grass-type Pokemon actually benefit from reverting to a mono Grass-type. A good example is Breloom who loses its 4x Flying-type weakness as well as allowing it to stay on the field against Fairy-types.

Fire Tera Type

Fire is a great offensive Tera Type for Grass-types since many have beneficial synergy with Sunny Day, either through Abilities like Chlorophyll and Harvest, or through the boosting move Growth which grants the user +2 Attack and Special Attack when under sun.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Fire with Fire Tera Shards.

Water Tera Type

Water is a great defensive Tera type for Grass-types, specifically giving them key resistance to Ice-type moves. Offensively, Grass and Water have great type synergy and gives Grass-types the ability to take on Fire-types.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Water with Water Tera Shards.
