February 25, 2024 | Dragon King Championships | Cerulean Tower Noh Theater (Shibuya, Tokyo) |
The Pokemon Dragon King Championships 2024 online tournament that was to take place on December 1 all the way to December 4, 2023 has been rescheduled and has now ended.
The in-person tournament is still set to be held at the Cerulean Tower Noh Theater, Shibuya, Tokyo on February 25, 2024.
Each player will register 3 Pokemon for Singles Battles, one of which must be either Koraidon or Miraidon. Only after the order of the 3 Pokemon has been selected will the team be revealed to the opponent.
While the event has been reinstated, the rules are still under deliberation by tournament officials. We will update the page once more news is released!
Registration for this tournament was announced to take place on November 20, 2023 ~ December 1, 2023. Entries can no longer be made after the tournament has started.
All Age Divisions are eligible to participate in this tournament. The Battle Team to be used will be locked in upon registration.
Participants would have been rewarded 10,000 LP as long as they participate in at least three matches.
Other prizes and rewards will be announced at a later date.
2020's Dragon King Champion Received an Exclusive Shirt for winning the event.
The initial Qualifying round to be held on December 1, 2023 ~ December 4, 2023 has been announced to be canceled due to a bug that caused Koraidon and Miraidon in registered battle teams to appear as different Pokemon.
This was only a display issue, and does not change the actual Koraidon or Miraidon registered. Pokemon registered into battle teams will be unlocked.
The tournament will follow the new Regulation F Format, but with Koraidon and Miraidon being legal (and required to have 1 featured on each team).
