This Baxcalibur build is specialized to counter Flying-type Pokemon in Tera Raids.
The best ability for Baxcalibur against the Flying-types is Ice Body, which passively heals Baxcalibur during Snow.
This build also aims to have Baxcalibur as a physical attacker. Having an Adamant nature and a Ice Tera Type will serve it well with its main weapons being Icicle Crash.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards making it a bulky physical attacker so it can withstand hits for longer while dealing damage. Max out your HP and Attack EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Letting it hold Shell Bell will allow Baxcalibur to recover HP while dealing damage.
Baxcalibur Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Snowscape to boost Baxcalibur's Defense and activate Ice Body. |
Turn 2 | Use Swords Dance to boost Baxcalibur's Attack stat. |
Turns 3~5 | Use Icicle Crash to build up Tera Orb charge. |
Turns 6+ | Terastallize and use Icicle Crash. Reapply Swords Dance and Snowscape as needed. |
Start the battle by setting up Snowscape to boost Baxcalibur's Defense, and activate Ice Body's passive healing. Afterwards, use Swords Dance to boost Baxcalibur's Attack stat, then finally attack with Icicle Crash.
The Defense boost from Snow and the healing from Ice Body should be enough to keep you alive while you set up, but in case your HP falls below 50%, you can start dealing damage with Icicle Crash to recover some HP from your Shell Bell.

Shell Bell |
The best ability for Baxcalibur in Tera Raid Battles is Thermal Exchange, which you can fully utilize if you are facing Fire-type Pokemon. Getting hit by Fire-type attacks will raise Baxcalibur's Attack if it has this ability, further bolstering its high Attack stat.
This build also aims to have Baxcalibur as a physical attacker. Having an Adamant nature and a Dragon Tera Type will serve it well with its main weapons being Outrage and Glaive Rush. Baxcalibur can also use its other moves, Icicle Crash and Crunch, when it is not Terastallized.
