Stellar Terapagos is fought in the Area Zero Underdepths as the final boss of the Indigo Disk DLC. As the titular Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, its terastal form utilizes a unique Stellar Tera-type energy to change its Tera Type in each phase.
The Indigo Disk DLC Story Walkthrough
Stellar Terapagos starts the battle with a large HP bar and a shield similar to a Tera Raid Battle. You'll need to terastallize your Pokemon and deal increased damage to the shield to successfully break it!
Just like regular Tera Raid battles, you'll need to build up Tera charge by attacking Terapagos at least three times. Once you've built enough charge, Ms. Briar will tell you that you can now terastallize your Pokemon!
Every time you shatter Stellar Terapagos' shield, it will steal your Pokemon's Terastal Energy. This causes it to create another shield to fortify its HP, while also completely removing your Pokemon's Terastallization.
This means that every time you break Terapagos' shield, you'll need to build up charge again so you can terastallize again.

Stellar Terapagos starts the battle as a Normal-type but will change its Tera type every time it reapplies its shield.
Terapagos will then change its Tera type to Psychic the first time it reapplies its shield, and then to Water once you bring it down to low health and reapplies its shield a final time.
Stelllar Terapagos starts out as a Normal Tera-type Pokemon and will always use Tera Starstorm to damage you and Carmine's Pokemon.
Sending out a Ghost or Steel-type will nullify or reduce the damage of its attack, and will allow you to stay on the field to build up your Tera Charge!
Stellar Terapagos' boss fight starts immediately after defeating Kieran in the Area Zero Underdepths and you'll have the chance to save before engaging him in a battle.
Make sure to switch to your Ghost or Steel-type before fighting Kieran since the Pokemon you lead with will be the first Pokemon you'll send out against Stellar Terapagos!
Area Zero Expedition Walkthrough
Tera-boosted super effective attacks will bring down Stellar Terapagos' shield faster, minimizing the damage you'll receive from its powerful attacks.
When choosing a Pokemon to use against Terapagos, make sure it can deal super effective damage against Normal, Psychic, and Water-types with its STAB or coverage moves!

Can deal super effective damage with its STAB and coverage moves Dual-typing gives it resistances to Psychic and immunity to Normal-type moves. Assault Vest gives it special bulk to withstand multiple Earth Powers from Terapagos. |
Gholdengo is one of the best Pokemon to use against the boss fight since it can learn Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, and Thunderbolt to take advantages of Stellar Terapagos' changing weakness.
It's dual Steel / Ghost typing also means it resists Normal Tera Starstorm and Zen Headbutt. Keep in mind that Terapagos can still use Earth Power, but a Gholdengo with full HP investment can shrug this attack off easily when equipped with an Assault Vest.
