Can You Catch Great Tusk?

Quaking Earth Titan Can Be Caught After Path of Legends Battle

Donphan Titan Location

Great Tusk is a Titan Pokemon you will battle in the Path of Legends storyline in Pokemon Scarlet. After you defeat it and get a Badge from Arven, you will be able to battle it again; only this time you will be able to catch it!

You can find the Quaking Earth Titan again by going through the desert that is located to the west of Cascarrafa City. Once you interact with it the battle will start immediately, so make sure that you are prepared!

Great Tusk/Iron Treads the Quaking Earth Titan Guide

Will Not Respawn If Knocked Out

Do take note that Quaking Earth will not respawn if you accidentally knock it out during the rematch. It is recommended to turn off autosave and save the game before starting the battle so you can just reset the game in case you defeat it.

How To Catch Titan Pokemon

Will Have a Unique Mark

IGreat Tusk will have a special Titan Mark once you capture it. When it is in your party you can select this Mark from its Summary screen. When this Mark is selected and you send this Pokemon out to battle it will have the suffix 'the Former Titan' added to its name.

List of Marks and Titles

Can Be Caught in Area Zero: Bottom Cave (Scarlet Only)

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Great Tusk Location in Area Zero
Once released through progressing the main story, Great Tusk can be commonly found in Areas 1, 2, and 4 in the Crater as well as inside of the Research Station 4 cave at the bottom of Area Zero, albeit in its non-Titan size.

Great Tusk is a Pokemon Scarlet exclusive, so if you are playing Pokemon Violet, you need to trade with someone who is playing Pokemon Scarlet to obtain it!

The Quaking Earth Titan CAN be caught. After I beat it, I went back to its location, interacted with it and I was able to catch it.
