Paldea and Kitakami have a time zone difference when you travel between them in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) Teal Mask DLC. Learn about how the day and night cycle works, how time in Kitakami compares to Paldea, and which of the Pokemon in the Kitakami Pokedex can only be obtained at a particular time of day.
List of Contents
If you haven't finished the main story of the Teal Mask DLC yet, you may notice that the time of day does not change until you go to the next story point.
For story reasons, the time of day in Kitakami will depend on your story progress. It will not follow the standard day cycle until you complete the story.
The Teal Mask DLC Story Walkthrough
There appears to be a time difference of 18 real-time minutes between Paldea and Kitakami.
Kitakami is ahead of Paldea in the day-night cycle, so there are times when it would be morning in Kitakami and nighttime in Paldea when you travel between the two areas in your save file
