Paldea and Kitakami have a time zone difference when you travel between them in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) Teal Mask DLC. Time Locked to Story Progression

If you haven't finished the main story of the Teal Mask DLC yet, you may notice that the time of day does not change until you go to the next story point.

For story reasons, the time of day in Kitakami will depend on your story progress. It will not follow the standard day cycle until you complete the story.

There appears to be a time difference of 18 real-time minutes between Paldea and Kitakami.

Kitakami is ahead of Paldea in the day-night cycle, so there are times when it would be morning in Kitakami and nighttime in Paldea when you travel between the two areas in your save file
