Apriballs (Apricorn Balls) are special Poke Ball items used to catch Pokemon and complete your Pokedex in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Read on to learn about all the Apricorn Balls available in the new Gen 9 titles!

How to Get Apriballs (Apricorn Balls)
Available from Porto Marinada Auctions
Apricorn Balls, or Apriballs for short, can sometimes be purchased as the featured item in Porto Marinada auctions.
How to Win Porto Marinada Auctions
Best Way to Farm Apriballs (1 every 15 Minutes)

| 1 |  Go to Port Marinada Auction House Make sure that you're in between the three stalls for easy access. |
| 2 |  Save your progress and completely close the game. |
| 3 |  Syncronize Clock via Internet into Off Turn your Switch Time Settings to Manual and change the time 2 hours forward. |
| 4 |  Open the game |
| 5 |  If none of them are an Apriball, exit the game and open the game again |
| 5 |  Repeat these steps until there is an Apriball This reset method gives you a chance of 1 Apriball every 15 minutes or so. Note: This reset method also works for other items like Bottle Caps and Potions. |
The bidding price for Apriballs always starts at ₽100,000, so be sure you have enough funds before going on your Apriball hunt!

Participate in the Academy Ace Tournament
Although the chances of receiving one are rather low, participating in Academy Ace Tournament battles allow you to earn Apriballs as well. While the Apriball that you receive is chosen at random, you do not have to spend money to get one, making it a more efficient method for collecting these rare Pokeballs.
Complete the Pokedex
Certain Pokeballs are also available as one-time rewards from catching and registering Pokemon in your Pokedex.

There is a very high chance of obtaining an Apriball if the Poke Ball Lotto activates randomly as you do print jobs for the Item Printer.
Note that the Item Printer is available only on The Indigo Disk DLC.

The Item Printer was found to generate items the second you press the "I want to print something" text. This can then be exploited by changing your Nintendo Switch's internal time and obtain prints that are consistent and can be replicated by anyone.

|
Effect A Poke Ball that makes it easier to catch Pokemon the heavier they are. If the Pokemon is weighs less than 451.1 lbs the catch value becomes -20, if the Pokemon weighs more than 451.1 lbs the value is +20. If the Pokemon's weight is heavier than 677.3 lbs, the value is +30, if the Pokemon is over 903 lbs then the value is +40. Effect A Poke Ball that makes it easier to catch Pokemon that have lower levels compared to your own. If the user's level is greater than the opponent's level then the catch rate is 2x. If half the user's level is greater than the opponent then the catch rate is 4x. If a 1/4 of the user's level is greater than the opponent then the catch rate is 8x. Effect A Poke Ball that makes it easier to catch Pokemon of the same species with the opposite gender of the user. What are Apriballs (Apricorn Balls)?
Apriballs are Rare Pokeballs made from Apricorns introduced in the Gen 2 games of Pokemon. By submiting colored Apricorns to an NPC, the player would be rewarded Apriballs in return.
There are no Apricorns available in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, so Apriballs can't be crafted. They can, however, be purchased.
