Summary

Pokeball IconMaximize damage output with status moves.

Pokeball IconIntentionally fail a move such as Swords Dance to Boost Temper Flare Damage

Intimidate is the better ability choice for Incineroar in Tera Raid Battles. This decreases the Raid Boss' attack stat and greatly increases the team's survivability.

However, despite Blaze's unreliability, it may still be a great choice for dealing one massive hit with Temper Flare's conditional 150 Base Power.

This strategy uniquely uses Swords Dance to have it fail intentionally to double Temper Flare's base power. The Shell Bell will give Inceneroar a bit of survivability to repeat this strategy.

Best Tera Type

As a Fire-type attacker, getting an Incineroar with a Fire Tera Type is recommended to get the damage boost to Fire-type moves. The Adamant nature is best for Incineroar as it has few uses for the Sp. Atk stat.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

This build aims to make Incineroar deal massive bursts of damage with Temper Flare but also have enough survivability. Max out your Attack and HP EVs while adding the remaining EVs into Speed.

Tera Raid Strategy

Incineroar Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Strategies
Turns 1-3 Use Swords Dance to maximize Incineroar's attack stat.
Optional Use Bulk Up if you need Defense.
Turn 4~6 Use Sunny Day to temporarily boost Fire-type moves for a few turns.
Turn 7 Use Swords Dance despite Incineroar's maximized attack stat. This will make the move fail and boost the power of Temper Flare the next turn.
Turn 8 Use Temper Flare with its boosted base power.

This build specializes in being able to deal a massive amount of damage in a single hit with Temper Flare's 150 BP.

Remember to hit with Temper Flare between the status moves to heal with Shell Bell and charge your Tera Orb.

It may also be combined with Incineroar's ability, Blaze, for another 30% damage boost to Fire-type moves when Incineroar's HP is low. However, this may be not easy to set up.

Summary

Pokeball IconMaximize damage output with Swords Dance and Bulk Up

Pokeball IconUse moves such as Parting Shot or Scorching Sands to increase survivability

Pokeball IconAttack with Darkest Lariat while holding Shell Bell to recover health

Intimidate is the better ability choice for Incineroar in Tera Raid Battles, as Blaze only benefits Fire-type moves. This ability decreases the Raid Boss' attack stat and greatly increases the team's survivability.

This is a fairly standard build with status moves to enhance its damage potential while also having access to attack-lowering moves such as Parting Shot or the burn inflicted by Scorching Sands. The Shell Bell is given to Inceneroar for increased survivability by having it heal a portion of the damage it deals.

Best Tera Type

As a Dark-type attacker, getting an Incineroar with a Dark Tera Type is recommended to get the damage boost to Dark-type moves. The Adamant nature is best for Incineroar as it has few uses for the Sp. Atk stat.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

This build aims to make Incineroar deal damage with Darkest Lariat but have enough survivability. Max out your Attack and HP EVs while adding the remaining EVs into Speed.

Tera Raid Strategy

Incineroar Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Strategies
Turns 1-2 Use Parting Shot or Scorching Sands to lower the Boss' attack stat.
Optional Use Bulk Up if you need Defense.
Turn 3-4 Use Swords Dance to maximize Incineroar's attack stat.
Turn 5+ Start the offense by using Dark Lariat and charge your Tera Orb. Terastallize when available and refresh and buffs/debuffs if needed.

This is a fairly standard build with status moves to enhance its damage and survivability while mainly dealing damage with Darkest Lariat.

Summary

Pokeball IconMaximize damage output with Swords Dance

Pokeball IconRepeatedly use Drain Punch to recover HP, but also increase its damage with the held item Metronome.

Intimidate is the better ability choice for Incineroar in Tera Raid Battles, as Blaze only benefits Fire-type moves. This ability decreases the Raid Boss' attack stat and greatly increases the team's survivability.

This build combos Drain Punch and the Metronome held item to reliably deal good damage and regain a large amount of HP in the process.

Best Tera Type

As a Fighting-type attacker, getting an Incineroar with a Fighting Tera Type is recommended to get the damage boost to Fighting-type moves. The Adamant nature is best for Incineroar as it has few uses for the Sp. Atk stat.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

This build aims to make Incineroar deal damage with Drain Punch but have a good HP pool to greatly benefit from Drain Punch. Max out your Attack and HP EVs while adding the remaining EVs into Speed.

Tera Raid Strategy

Incineroar Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Strategies
Turns 1-3 Use Swords Dance to maximize Incineroar's attack stat
Turns 3~4 Use Scorching Sands to hopefully inflict Burn to the Boss
Turn 5~7 Use Drain Punch to recover HP and charge the Tera Orb.
Turn 8+ Terastallize and use Close Combat to deal damage. Use Drain Punch to heal when needed.

This build uses Drain Punch and Metronome to deal a lot of damage while also having excellent survivability. This survivability also deals with the downside of Close Combat decreasing Incineroar's defenses.
