How to Check IVs and Unlock the Judge Function

IVs Can Be Checked Once You Finish the Game

If you haven't beaten the game yet, try our IV Checker and Calculator to check the IVs of your newly caught Pokemon.

1 Beat the game
The Judge Function can only be unlocked when you've finished all three stories and the final story, The Way Home, and the credits roll.

2 Unlocking the Judge Function - Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)
Go to your nearest Pokemon Center
There, the staff will recognize your Hall of Fame badge and unlock the Judge Function for you.

Check out one of your Pokemon boxes, highlight a Pokemon, and double-press the + Button
You should see your Pokemon's Individual Values on the right-hand side of the screen.

This is for the rating in green text at the bottom of Judge tab. It calculates the total IVs across all stats.
