Face and win against three trainers in a Doubles Battle Challenge to pass the Montenevera Gym Test and face Ryme, the Ghost-type Gym Leader in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Read on for more information about this Gym Test, along with some tips and strategies that you can use during the challenge!

Montenevera Gym Test Walkthrough
| 1 |  Talk to the Gym Staff. You will be tasked to be the Gym Leader's opening act for her show. |

| 2 |  Step outside and head to the concert stage. The stage is adjacent to the Gym building. |
| 3 |  Talk to MC Sledge. MC Sledge can be found in front of the concert stage. He will tell you all about what you need to do as the opening act. |
| 4 |  Participate in three Doubles Battles. Montenevera's Gym Test are essentially three sets of Doubles Battles against trainers. You need to win against all three battles to pass the Gym Test and heat up the crowd! |
Montenevera Gym Test Tips and Strategies
Doubles Battle Trainer Teams
You will face three separate trainers in a Doubles match during the Gym Test. These will start one after the other, so you better be prepared before starting the challenge!
None of them will Terastalize their Pokemon, so you don't need to worry about boosted Ghost-type moves for now.

Use Dark or Ghost-type Moves
All of the Pokemon that you will fight in this Gym Test are Ghost-types. To deal with them easily, use Dark or Ghost-type moves, which are super-effective against Ghost-type Pokemon.

After Passing the Gym test, you may challenge Ryme, the Montenevera Ghost Gym Leader.
