Iron Crown has naturally great defensive stats, allowing it to invest more into its offense especially with a Booster Energy.
Tachyon Cutter is important to break opposing Focus Sashes and Multiscales while Psyshock lets Iron Crown deal with high Sp. Def Pokemon by targeting their Defense instead. Volt Switch is used to get Iron Crown out of bad matchups and Agility helps it outspeed fast Pokemon since Booster Energy is boosting its Sp. Atk.

Surging Strikes
・ Close Combat ・ Ice Spinner ・ U-turn |
This Urshifu is built to be more offensive by getting quick knockouts with speedy Choice Scarf boosted attacks.
Its moves are the standard STAB Surging Strikes and Close Combat, along with Ice Spinner for its amazing coverage and U-Turn to get Urshifu out of bad matchups.
Also, the opponent might not expect to be KO'd by Surging Strikes when they use Protect since Urshifu commonly holds a Punching Glove.

Moveset | ・
Grassy Glide
・ Wood Hammer ・ High Horsepower ・ Tera Blast |
This build makes Rillaboom a bulky attacker to maximize the damage it can do with +1 priority Grassy Glides.
Additionaly, it has Wood Hammer to deal massive damage to Pokemon that don't resist it as well as High Horsepower and Rock Tera Blast for amazing the amazing Ground and Rock offensive coverage.
Rillaboom also doesn't have to worry too much about Life Orb recoil damage since the healing it gets from Grassy Terrain offsets the damage it takes.

Moveset | ・
Ivy Cudgel
・ Horn Leech ・ Play Rough ・ Encore |
Hearthflame Ogerpon is an amazing offensive threat thanks to its great typing and the massive damage boost it gets once Terastallized.
It also has a wide movepool with moves like its powerful signature move Ivy Cudgel, Horn Leech to heal itself and Encore to lock the opponent into a useless move.
Ogerpon also has great coverage moves like Knock Off and Stomping Tantrum, but for this build it is using Play Rough for its generally great coverage and good base power.

Choice Specs Flutter Mane is a fast and powerful attacker thanks to its base stats and amazing offensive movepool.
This set utilizes the common Moonblast and Shadow Ball pairing, along with Power Gem for its wide coverage range and Psyshock to bypass high Sp. Def opponents.
Do note that since it is using Choice Specs, Flutter Mane is prone to getting outsped by opposing Speed boosted attackers.

Icicle Crash
・ Sucker Punch ・ Sacred Sword ・ Crunch |
Chien-Pao is a staple pick in Singles thanks to its amazing Speed stat and Sword of Ruin lowering everyone's Defense.
With STAB moves like Icicle Crash alongside Dark Tera boosted Sucker Punch and Crunch, it is difficult for opponents to minimize the damage they'll take from Chien-Pao.
It also has access to Sacred Sword, which ignores the opponent's stat changes, making it even hard for Iron Defense Pokemon to wall it.
Chien-Pao Movesets and Best Builds
Offensive Leads | ||
---|---|---|
Urshifu Rapid-Strike Style |
Flutter Mane |
Chien-Pao |
These three Pokemon are great offensive leads for this team due to their ability to get quick uncontested knockouts with their powerful STAB attacks.
Opponents might be left vulnerable since they might not expect for Urshifu to outspeed them with Choice Scarf or that Flutter Mane has its damage boosted thanks to Choice Specs. They will however expect the more standard Chien-Pao set, but that doesn't take away from the offensive pressure that it exerts.
Revenge Killers | ||
---|---|---|
Ogerpon (Hearthflame Mask) |
Rillaboom |
Iron Crown |
The idea moving forward in battle is that you would want to use your next Pokemon to remove any threats so that your last Pokemon can have a safe late game sweep.
Pokemon like Rillaboom and Iron Crown can utilize their bulk to survive hits and get knockouts in return, while Hearthflame Ogerpon can look for Embody Aspect boosted attacks while also healing itself with Horn Leech when needed.
Endgame Sweepers | ||
---|---|---|
Iron Crown |
Ogerpon (Hearthflame Mask) |
Chien-Pao |
Keep your strongest Pokemon alive for an endgame sweep. Iron Crown and Hearthflame Ogerpon are both amazing attackers that can easily finish off the enemy's team thanks to their natural bulk and wide offensive coverage respectively, while Chien-Pao can easily finish off the opponent with a Dark Tera boosted Sucker Punch.
Offensive Lead | Special Attacker | Physical Attacker |
---|---|---|
Urshifu Rapid-Strike Style |
Iron Crown |
Ogerpon (Hearthflame Mask) |
Urshifu utilizes its powerful STAB attacks and Choice Scarf to look for quick knockouts on the opponent's lead Pokemon, while also clearing the way for its allies to safely switch in.
Iron Crown can then come in to deal with any opponent that has items or abilities like Focus Sash or Sturdy with Tachyon Cutter, so that Hearthflame Ogerpon can easily OHKO any of the opponent's remaining Pokemon.
