What are Vitamins?

Use Vitamins to Boost Your Pokemon's EVs

Vitamins are items used to add EVs (Effort Values) to a Pokemon's single stat. These are especially useful when trying to train and breed Pokemon for competitive battle!

EVs, IVs, and Natures Explained

Vitamins Vs. Feathers

Vitamins add 10 EVs to a Pokemon's stat, while Feathers add 1 EV to a Pokemon's stat. Since you can only allocate 510 EVs to any of your Pokemon's stats with a maximum of 252 per stat, you need to be careful with your EV allocations.

If you don't want to allocate too many EVs to a single stat, use Feathers instead of Vitamins until you get to your desired number of EVs for your Pokemon.
