As shown, each form of Ogerpon doesn't have an advantage over another when it comes to challenging Tera Raids and it is up to you which form you use depending on the situtation. Ogerpon is flexible enough that you don't need to invest much into building multiple Pokemon for Raids.

Ogerpon's main gimmick in Tera Raids is that you don't need to spend Tera Shards to change Tera Types; instead, you just need to change its Held Item in order to take on different Tera Raids.

Summary

Pokeball IconDefiant makes Ogerpon an amazing Grass Type Attacker for Tera Raids

Pokeball IconHorn Leech gives it a STAB Recovery Move, no need for Shell Bell

Pokeball IconIvy Cudgel is a 100 Base Power Move that only improves once Terastallized

The only available ability for Ogerpon for this form is Defiant. This will allow for Ogerpon to gain Attack buffs once it gets its stats debuffed, making you need less Swords Dances to max out your Attack stat. Once Terastallized, Ogerpon will change its ability to Embody Aspect which give it a buff in its Speed.

Horn Leech is added to the build to gain some HP Back from the Raid Boss. That is to day that the move itself also packs a punch.

This build then hinges on Ogerpon's Signature Move, Ivy Cudgel; with this, you be rest assured that Ogerpon will be doing an absurd amount of damage thanks to its high base power of 100.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Ogerpon with a Grass Tera Type because it is impossible to change Ogerpon's Tera Type unless it is holding a different mask. As a Physical attacker, an Adamant nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards Bulky Offense. Max out your HP and Atk EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Give it Miracle Seed to power up its Grass Type moves.

Tera Raid Strategy

Ogerpon Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Grassy Terrain to power up your Grass type attacks.
Turns 2~4 Use Swords Dance to buff your Attack stat. You can immediately attack if one of your stats get lowered due to Defiant.
Low HP Turns Use Horn Leech to gain back some HP.
Turns 5+ Use Ivy Cudgel as your main attacking move. You can also use Horn Leech instead if you're low on HP. Terastallize when you are able to.
Grassy Terrain is Removed Recast Grassy Terrain if you need it.

This build is tailor made to capitalize on Ogerpon's Signature Move, Ivy Cudgel. With a 100 BP move that has a 100% accuracy and increased Crit Rate on top of that. Combined with Grassy Terrain and Swords Dance, this will ensure you'll do a ton of damage.

Ogerpon's Teal Mask ability, Defiant, also lessens the need for Swords Dance uses as it lets you get +2 Attack buffs as long as you get a stat debuffed. Horn Leech is then added to round out the kit as your main healing option.

This is very for useful against Water Type Raid Bosses that have a different Tera Type. Once Terastallized, your ability will change into Embody Aspect which will give you a boost in your Special Defense in exchange for your immunity to Water Type Moves.

Horn Leech is used to bring your health back up. This move is an amazing add to Ogerpon's kit as Water and Grass have pretty similar coverage when it comes to hitting oponents for Super Effective damage.

Pokeball IconAccess to Charm plus its innate Defense boosts makes it an amazing Pokemon that can take hits while dishing it back out.

Pokeball IconIvy Cudgel is a 100 Base Power Move that only improves once Terastallized

The only ability this form of Ogerpon could have in Tera Raid Battles is Sturdy. While it doesn't realy need it due to the innate buff Embody Aspect and Sandstorm provides. Terastallize immediately if you want.

Charm is used in this kit to harshly lower the Raid Boss' attack. This will make it so that the Raid Boss will be doing almost no damage to you due to the buffs on Ogerpon combined with the shred in Attack.

This build then hinges on Ogerpon's Signature Move, Ivy Cudgel; with this, you be rest assured that Ogerpon will be doing an absurd amount of damage thanks to its high base power of 100.
