Summary

Pokeball IconCan be easily changed into a Physical Support thanks to Mints and Mochis

Pokeball IconCan pivot into a decent attacking role with Draining Kiss boosted by Fake Tears

Pokeball IconMoves can be changed to suit whichever situation thanks to its support-oriented movepool

The best ability for Ribombee in Tera Raid Battles is Shield Dust. This prevents Ribombee from being affected by moves that can deal nasty effects on top of dealing damage like Triple Arrows for example.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Ribombee with a Fairy Tera Type as it is an amazing defensive typing while also boosting the power of Draining Kiss. As a Defensive Wall, a Calm nature would be best.

EV Spread Explanation

This build aims to make Ribombee as tanky as possible against special attacks. Max out your HP and Special Defense EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Sp. Atk. Give it Light Clay to extend the duration of your screens.

Tera Raid Strategy

Ribombee Tera Raid Situational Strategies
Debuffer Help out your allies with Fake Tears so they can dish out more damage!
Screen Setter Help the team's overall bulk by setting up a Light Screen.
Self-Sustain Heal yourself up with Draining Kiss to prevent running the timer.
Healer Help the team out with Pollen Puff .

This build is specifically tailored for random Tera Raid matchups online. Use Light Screen at the start of the battle to make your team less susceptible to damage.

This build focuses on using Pollen Puff to heal up the any party member if their HP is running low. You also have the option of attacking with Draining Kiss to deal decent damage thanks to the debuff you set by using Fake Tears.

Alternative Moves

Ribombee is a Pokemon whose entire kit revolves around supporting ally Pokemon. Here's some moves we could recommend that could help in certain types of raids.

Move Case
Reflect and Lunge Raid Boss is Physically Oriented. Change your nature to Bold and invest in Defense EVs instead.
Struggle Bug Further debuff the Raid Boss' Sp. Atk increasing the team's overall bulk against Special Attackers
Helping Hand Focus on playing exclusively doing support for your teammates to deal more damage.
Tailwind Help allies out who are holding Shell Bell so they can heal before being hit by the Raid Boss.

Summary

Pokeball IconDebilitates Raid Bosses that rely on their Abilities by giving them Honey Gather

Pokeball IconDecent ally recovery option with Pollen Puff

Pokeball IconMainly supporting role lets you use any Ribombee without the need to change Tera Types

The best ability for Ribombee in Tera Raid Battles is Honey Gather. This allows Ribombee to give the Raid Boss an ability with no in-battle effect which could lead you into a more favorable position.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Ribombee with a Fairy Tera Type as it is an amazing defensive typing but it is not needed as you will be mostly be supporting your allies with this build instead of attacking. As a Defensive Wall, a Bold nature would be best.

This build also uses Pollen Puff to heal up the any party member if their HP is running low. You can also set up a Reflect to bolster defenses or Helping Hand to boost damage if needed.
