Entries for the 2024 Global Challenge I closed on February 1st at 23:59 UTC. This is one minute before the beginning of the competition and in-line with how past Global Challenges' registration deadlines worked.
Only one user per game version (Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet) may participate per each Nintendo Switch system. If your Nintendo Account is registered to users on multiple Nintendo Switch systems, you may participate with only one user and system per game version.
Any Nintendo Switch Online membership and Nintendo Account required for online features are required to participate.
The format used in the 2024 Global Challenge I is Regulation F's Doubles Format.
Official Pokemon Tournaments are typically played in the Doubles Format, making learning how to build the best doubles team vital for Competitive Ranked Battles in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Farm League Points (LP)
The 2024 Global Challenge I is an official online competition and is part of the 2024 official circuit. This online competition will allow players from Japan and South Korea to earn placements for their National Championships, as well as earn Championship Points for the 2024 World Championships.
Players must have their Pokemon Trainer Club account linked to their Nintendo Account to be eligible to receive Championship Points from this event.

The Regulation F ruleset allows for all Pokemon in the Paldea Pokedex, Paradox Pokemon, the four Treasures of Ruin, Pokemon from Pokemon HOME, Pokemon from the Kitakami Pokedex, and new and returning Pokemon from the Indigo Disk Pokedex
The new Paradox Legendaries: Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, Raging Bolt, Iron Crown, Gouging Fire and Iron Boulder are all legal in Regulation F!
All Pokemon HOME Transferable Pokemon
Almost all Legendaries and Mythical Pokemon are Restricted Pokemon, and are banned from competitive play in Regulation F.
