This Blissey build makes use of Calm Mind to further increase Blissey's Special Defense, making it a great wall against Special Attackers like Gholdengo and Wash Rotom.

Poison Barb as a held item allows Blissey to Poison enemies by using Fling. Fling can also be used to disrupt Trick setups by using Fling to remove the Choice Item.

Blissey's Dark Tera typing gives it immunity to Psyshock from Pokemon like Gholdengo, while still at least maintaining a resistance Ghost.

How to Use Blissey Effectively

Use Blissey as a Special Wall

Blissey has the highest HP stat, and one of the highest Sp. Defense stats among the Pokemon available in Scarlet and Violet. Use Blissey against high firepower Special Attackers like Gholdengo and Wash Rotom. Keep in mind that Blissey has a very low Defense stat, so switch it out against Physical Attackers.

How to Build a Team with Blissey

Since Blissey works best as a Special Wall, pair it with Physical tanks and Attackers to have a well rounded team. Using a switch-heavy team also allows Blissey to pick its battles carefully.
