After his first class, Mr. Salvatore can be found in the Staff Room and a quick chat with him in more than one language will lift his spirits!

You'll grow closer to Mr. Salvatore upon completing this scene!

Helping a Pawmi with Mr. Salvatore

You'll find Mr. Salvatore in the Schoolyard by the garden. Offer your assistance in helping the Pawmi by giving him a Potion or telling him to calm down first. The Pawmi will be fine and he'll take the Pokemon under his wing.

You'll grow even closer with Mr. Salvatore after helping out!

Mr. Salvatore will be in the Biology lab, speaking to Mr. Jacq. He'll introduce you to the Pawmi you had helped before, who is looking right as rain though a bit meek!

Attacked by a Wild Pokemon

It seems the poor Pawmi was attacked by wild Pokemon and fled to the school grounds. But despite its silence, Mr. Salvatore is happy to help. You'll be trusted by Mr. Salvatore after this!

Mr. Salvatore's New Pokemon

You'll find Mr. Salvatore in the staff room, where he'll tell you that being quiet is simply part of the Pawmi's personality. This means releasing the Pokemon back into the wild would only put it in danger.

Tell Pawmi Belongs With Him

It's up to you to tell Mr. Salvatore that Pawmi belongs with him, a suggestion he (and the Pawmi) will be happy with.

Rewards for Completing Mr. Salvatore's Friendship Events

Lv. 5 Galarian Meowth

For your advice and help with Pawmi, Mr. Salvatore will give you a Lv. 5 Galarian Meowth. You'll also form a close bond with your language teacher!

Galarian Meowth is a Steel-type Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Note that this is the only way to obtain Galarian Meowth in the game, if you're planning to raise a Perrserker to use in Tera Raids.

Tips and Strategy to Beat Salvatore

Bring a Variety of Pokemon

Salvatore's team consists different types of Pokemon, so make sure to bring a variety of your own to counter them!

Use a Ground-Type Pokemon

Mr. Salvatore will Terastallize his Raichu into an Electric Type, boosting its Electric moves. Use a Ground-Type Pokemon as they have an advantage over Electric-type Pokémon, dealing double damage and have complete immunity to all Electric-type moves.

Watch out for Raichu's Grass Knot

Watch out for Raichu's Grass Knot, as it is super-effective against Ground-type Pokemon!
