From January 10, 2025 to January 12, 2025, Snake Pokemon will appear in Paldea, Kitakami, and the Terarium at an increased spawn rate and Shiny Odds!
Silicobra, Ekans, and Seviper will appear in Mass Outbreak Events, and will have boosted Shiny odds.
Mass Outbreak Events Schedule and Pokemon
This Mass Outbreak Event will be held in all three maps in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Silicobra will appear in Paldea, Ekans will appear in Kitakami, and Seviper will appear in the Terarium.
This means that only those that have purchased the DLC have access to the Ekans and Seviper outbreaks.
The Ekans and Seviper outbreaks will only appear in The Indigo Disk's Terarium, which is only accessible if you have finished both the base game and The Teal Mask's stories.
That means that if you want to hunt for a Shiny Ekans and Seviper, you need to finish both the base game and The Teal Mask.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC
This Mass Outbreak Event will feature boosted Shiny encounter rates. You can further boost your chances of getting Shinies for all featured Pokemon with a Level 3 Sparking Power: Ground or Poison sandwiches!
Shiny Sandwich Recipes: How to Make Sparkling Power Sandwiches
To join this mass outbreak event, you needed to connect your game to the Internet to update the game data. Once done, Silicobra, Ekans, and Seviper should start appearing on your map!
To connect to the Internet, simply press the X button to open the menu and press the L button to connect to the Internet.
This Mass Outbreak will not just have increased spawn rates for Silicobra, Ekans, and Seviper, but they will also have increased Shiny odds, which makes this a good time to hunt for a Shiny variant of these Pokemon!
Make and consume Sparkling Power Sandwiches, and use the Picnic Reset Method to make your shiny hunt easier!
Shiny Hunting Guide and Shiny Odds
The three Pokemon appearing in the Mass Outbreak will not have boosted Mark rates, so you will have standard odds of finding one with a Mark.
If you want to increase your chances of encountering a Pokemon with a title, you can get the Mark Charm from The Indigo Disk DLC.
