The Profile App is a new feature that replaces the Trainer Card in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Read on to learn more about what the Profile App is, its features, and more!

Profile App Features

Displays Progress

The Profile App displays your progress all throughout your journey across the Paldea Region. Here, you can check how many Badges you've gathered, your Pokedex completion, how many Shiny Pokemon you have battled, and even the different sandwich recipes you've discovered!

Set Your Profile Picture

You can also set your profile picture on the Profile App by taking pictures with your Pokemon using the Camera App. Pick the right combination of outfits, hairstyles, poses, and filters to get a picture that screams you!

What is a Profile App?

An Updated Trainer Card

An Updated Trainer Card
Seeing how similar the features are, it's fair to say that the Profile App has replaced the Trainer Cards we were accustomed to in previous titles.

How to Change Trainer Icon

Change in the Profile Menu

1	Go to your Pokedex and Click X to choose Profile
2	Hit the + button to Change Photo and choose Trainer Icon
3	Choose to Take a New Photo to bring you to the Camera App
4	Take the photo Make sure to fit them inside the circle so it would look good on your icon
5	Trainer Icon is updated

Trainer Icon changes the icon in the minimap and raids

Updating the Trainer Icon would also change the icon next to your name in raids, and your icon in the minimap.
