Tips for Beating Nemona:
Bring a Balanced Team!

Nemona's is fought near the end of the Epilogue in a Singles Battle, with two of her Pokemon changing depending on the starter you chose.

Nemona has a balanced team that has no clear weaknesses, with most of her Pokemon being on the bulky side. It's best to bring a balanced team of Level 100 Pokemon against this fight with Pokemon that have coverage moves to take on her Pokemon.

Pokemon such as Flutter Mane, Bloodmoon Ursaluna, and Ogerpon are great picks for primary attackers for your balanced team as they boast strong coverage moves that can take out Nemona's Pokemon.

Nemona adds Goomy to her team during this fight and is resistant to your starter's main STAB moves. Her starter also reachers their final form and gets an additional typing and STAB moves.

Tinkaton is a great Pokemon to add to your team as it can easily take on both Goomy and Lycanroc with its dual Fairy/Steel STAB moves. Breloom is a good alternative thanks to its massive Attack stat and is a great Pokemon to round off your team if you chose Fuecoco or Quaxly as your starter.

Make sure to level your starter up as well as their secondary STAB so you can easily defeat her starter before it can unleash Tera-boosted STAB moves!

Nemona adds Dudunsparce and Orthworn, and also evolves her Sliggo to Goodra in her final team. While she still has no team specialty, three of her Pokemon are weak to Fighting-type Moves.

Gallade is a great Pokemon to add to your existing team. Due to its wide movepool, it's even possible to take on all of Nemona's Pokemon with it as it can learn key coverage moves such as Ice Punch and Earthquake.

Nemona's Story Role

Victory Road Storyline

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) - Pokemon Trainer Nemona
Nemona is your main companion and recurring Rival during the Victory Road Storyline. While she serves as a guide through your journey collecting Gym Badges, she also regularly tests you with Pokemon Battles as you make your way to the Pokemon League!

Three Stories: From Gyms to Gems

A Champion Rank Trainer

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) - Champion Nemona
Nemona is an experienced trainer and reveals very early that she's a Champion Rank Trainer that has already defeated the Elite Four in the previous school year.

She also serves as the final boss of the storyline, and is fought shortly after defeating Geeta. Defeating her in her last match completes the Victory Road Storyline!

Elite Four: Best Team and Strategy

Name Translation: Nemona

Named after the Nemophila Flower

Nemona is named after a flowering plant called the Nemophila menziesii, better known as the Baby Blue Eyes, and is consistent with her name in all other translations.

This flower is native to many habitats, which may reference her many encounters throughout the Paldea region.

Nemona Background

An Energetic Pokemon Champion

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Nemona Profile

Nemona is a fun and energetic girl who loves Pokemon battles and is an experienced trainer who will help you on your journey to become Champion.

Nemona is highly skilled at battling, but her skill at throwing Poke Balls leaves much to be desired.

Nemona's Glove

One of Nemona's most prominent features is the long glove on her right hand. Though the story never addresses what this glove is for, players have speculated online that she wears it to either help her with throwing Pokeballs or as an arm brace due to a recent injury.
