After the Walking Wake and Iron Leaves Raid announcement during the Pokemon Presents live stream, the actual raid began as soon as the 7-Star Pikachu Raid ended.
There was a small oversight regarding the release of the raid, which caused some players to be able to find the raid in-game, even without downloading the new update. Due to the missing in-game elements, the raid will appear as a Bad Egg, to act as a placeholder for either Walking Wake or Iron Leaves.
Catching the Bad Egg in-game counts as catching Walking Wake or Iron Leaves on that save file, meaning you will be unable to catch it again when you join a different Walking Wake or Iron Leaves raid.
Due to the Bad Egg being a glitch, it does not work properly in-game. It will not hatch regardless of how many steps you take, and most importantly, it will remain in your box or party, as it cannot be released.
Install version 1.3.0 Bad Egg Fix Patch Update in your game. This will then allow you to catch Walking Wake and Iron Leaves in their upcoming Tera Raid Event on May 1st! This patch update also includes a host of other minor fixes to improve gameplay experience.
