Summary

Pokeball IconAccess to Screech and Swords Dance makes it an amazing Physical attacker.

Pokeball IconAmazing Physical Bulk makes it an amazing counter for Physical attacking Electric Type Tera Raids

Pokeball IconAmazing movepool which lets it change its STAB Move to match whichever situation

The best ability for Gliscor in Tera Raid Battles is Hyper Cutter. This ability will prevent Gliscor from having its Attack stat lowered except for when the Raid Boss is clearing your buffs. You can swap it out for Poison Heal with Toxic Orb if you need more sustainability when you're setting up.

Gliscor has an amazing movepool which makes it a perfect fit for Tera Raid Battles. Getting access to Screech, Swords Dance, and Earthquake makes it a top pick if you ever need a Ground Type attacker.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Gliscor with a Ground Tera type to boost the power of your Ground-Type moves. As a Physical Attacker, Adamant nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards Bulky Offense. Max out your Def and Atk EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into HP. Give it a Shell Bell to help Gliscor recover HP when dealing damage.

Tera Raid Strategy

Gliscor Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turns 1~3 Build up Tera Orb Charges with Mud-Slap. You can also use Earthquake if you need healing.
Turns 4~9 Use Screech and Swords Dance. Try to gauge the behavior of the raid boss whether they like to clear out debuffs or buffs first and act accordingly.
Low HP Turns Use Earthquake to heal yourself while setting up; this will also help in building Tera Orb charges.
Turns 10+ Terastallize and keep using Earthquake when you can.

This build capitalizes on Gliscors amazing movepool which lets it set-up while taking a little damage as possible due to its amazing defensive bulk.

Start off by building up Tera Orb charges and lowering the Raid Boss' Accuracy by using Mud-Slap, this will give you some free set-up turns so you don't need to waste turns healing..

After lowering the Raid Boss' Accuracy, start setting up with Screech and Swords Dance. These should let you deal absurd amounts of damage with Earthquake once you Terastallize. Should the raid boss take some Tera Orb Charges, feel free to use either Mud-Slap or Earthquake.

Alternative Moves

Gliscor is an amazing Pokemon whose moveset lets it deal as much damage with Earthquake. Here's some moves we recommend that you can swap with Earthquake for certain situations.

This Gliscor Tera Raid Build is an effective counter to Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock, and Steel Type Tera Raid Bosses. If the Tera Raid Boss is usually an Ice or Water Type outside of Terastallization, perhaps consider a different build, as Gliscor will be weak to these Types as a Ground-Type attacker.
