---|---|
Anger Shell | When the Pokemon's HP drops below 50% or less, its Defense and Special Defense stats are lowered by one stage, but its Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats are raised by one stage. |
Armor Tail | It makes opposing Pokémon unable to use priority moves. |
Beads of Ruin | Lowers the Special Defense stat of all Pokemon in the field by 25%. This Ability does not stack and also grants immunity to opposing Beads of Ruin. |

Costar | The Pokemon copies an ally's stat changes when it enters the field. |
Cud Chew | When a Pokemon eats a Berry, it will eat the Berry again at the end of the next turn. |
Earth Eater | The Pokemon is unaffected by Ground-type moves, and instead heals 1/4 of its max HP when hit with a Ground-type attack. |
Electromorphosis | The user becomes charged when hit by an attack, boosting the power of the next Electric-type move it uses. |
Embody Aspect | An extra second Ability which activates when Ogerpon Terastallizes. Boosts a stat by one stage depending on Ogerpon's form: Speed for Teal Mask, Special Defense for Wellspring Mask, Attack for Hearthflame Mask, and Defense for Cornerstone Mask. |

Hospitality | Heals ally Pokémon in Double Battles when it is sent into battle |
Lingering Aroma | Contact with the Pokémon change the attacker's ability to Lingering Aroma. |
Mind's Eye | The Pokémon ignores changes to opponents' evasiveness, its accuracy can't be lowered, and it can hit Ghost types with Normal- and Fighting-type moves. |
Mycelium Might | All status moves used by the Pokemon go last within their priority bracket, and will ignore the Ability of the target. |
Opportunist | The Pokemon copies any stat boosts of its opponent. |
Orichalcum Pulse | The user changes the weather to Harsh Sunlight for five turns, and boosts its Attack stat by 30% while said weather is active. |
Poison Puppeteer | Pokémon poisoned by Pecharunt’s moves will also become confused. |
Protosynthesis | If Harsh Sunlight is active or if it's holding Booster Energy, the Pokemon's highest stat is boosted by 30% if the stat is Attack, Defense, Special Attack, or Special Defense or 50% if the stat is Speed. |
Purifying Salt | The Pokemon is protected from being inflicted with status conditions and halves the damage taken from Ghost-type moves. |
Quark Drive | If Electric Terrain is active or if it's holding Booster Energy, the Pokemon's highest stat is boosted by 30% if the stat is Attack, Defense, Special Attack, or Special Defense or 50% if the stat is Speed. |

Seed Sower | Summons Grassy Terrain in the field which lasts for five turns when the Pokemon is hit by an attack. |

Anger Shell is an all-new Ability in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokemon with this Ability will get a boost to their Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats once their health drops to half or less, while lowering their Defense and Special Defense stats.
Klawf, as revealed in the September 7 trailer for the game, is stated to have this Ability.
Anger Shell acts like the move Shell Smash, except that it activates automatically once the Pokemon is at half health, making this a very effective way of buffing it up without the use of any moves!
This Ability synergizes well if the Pokemon has other stat-boosting moves which drops its health to half, like Belly Drum or Curse, or it can also be used defensively with Substitute.
Another possible strategy with this Ability is for the Pokemon to use Baton Pass after Anger Shell activates and pass the stat changes to another Pokemon.
Cud Chew is a new Ability introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and is one of Farigiraf's Abilities.
This Ability allows its user to consume a held Berry an additional time at the end of the turn!
Similar to Harvest and Cheek Pouch, Cud Chew will allow its user to have even more survivability if its user is holding a Berry that recovers HP.
Sitrus Berry appears to be the most intuitive choice because it is not difficult to trigger. Having it trigger an additional time with Cud Chew will let its user recover a lot of health!
Armor Tail is a new Ability introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and is one of Farigiraf's Abilities.
It prevents opposing Pokemon from using Priority Moves, such as Sucker Punch or Quick Attack.
Armor Tail could be very useful for consistently setting up Trick Room because Armor Tail protects Farigiraf from Fake Out.
We have seen Oranguru with Inner Focus find success as a consistent Trick Room setter in the past, and this could be a viable way to run Farigiraf.
Additionally, Armor Tail would be useful for protecting Farigiraf from Prankster-enabled Trick.
Bellibolt introduces Electromorphosis, a new ability where when it is attacked, it enters a Charged state which powers up an Electric attack it uses one time!
Iono has hinted that Bellibolt is sluggish and easy-going for an Electric-type. Assuming it has the bulk characteristic of slower Pokemon, the idea of it being charged by a hit, and then Terastallizing into an Electric-type for a STAB-boosted, Tera-type-boosted, and Electromorphosis-boosted Electric-type attack allows it to pack a surprising punch!
While it does sound like a predictable strategy, it can be used to play mind-games with the opponent where they don't know when you'll pull the trigger on your strong move.
