Shell Bell |
The best ability for Paldean Tauros (Fighting Form) in Tera Raid Battles is Intimidate. This allows Tauros to lower the target's Attack stat without wasting a turn.
Offensively, Paldean Tauros can use Raging Bull and Reversal to deal damage, while Tail Whip and Work Up serve as secondary stat modifier moves.
We also recommend getting a Paldean Tauros (Fighting Form) with a Fighting Tera Type to boost the damage of Reversal and Raging Bull. As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards bulky offense. Max out your HP and Attack EVs, while adding the remaining points into Defense. This ensures that Tauros deals the most damage possible while also being tanky enough to survive hits.
Give it a Shell Bell to always recover HP when dealing damage.
Paldean Tauros (Fighting Form) Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turns 1~3 | Use Work Up to boost Tauros' Attack. |
Turn 4~5 | Use Tail Whip to lower target's Defense. |
Turns 6~8 | Use Reversal to deal super-effective damage while you are below 50% HP. Use Raging Bull otherwise. |
Turns 9+ | Terastallize and use Raging Bull or Reversal depening on your remaining HP. |
At the start of the raid, use Work Up and Tail Whip while Tauros is above 30% HP. Once you are low on health, attack with Reversal which should deal enough damage from the stat boosts and base power increase to heal you significantly. If you are above 50% HP, use Raging Bull instead.
Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, Terastallize and continue using Reversal and Raging Bull. Re-apply Work Up and Tail Whip as needed, especially after the raid Pokemon reverts stat changes.
