Some Pokemon have a secondary typing, which may sometimes cause them to be hit with a move that is super effective against both of their types. In this case, a super effective move could deal 4x damage to the defending Pokemon.
On the other hand, the damage output could become lower if 1 of the Pokemon's 2 types is resistant to the attacking Pokemon's move.
