Shooting stars in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) are a visual occurrence and have no practical purpose in the game. Read on for more information about shootings stars in the game and when it appears!
Shooting stars in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet do not have any purpose and are only meant to be a visual spectacle when they happen.
Nothing unique happens in the game except for having a scenic sky for a few moments. Shooting stars also do not have any in-battle effects, unlike the weather.
Shooting stars are a rare thing in the game, so you can capture those moments by using the game's camera to snap photos of the sky, or even take a selfie!
Camera App Guide and How to Take Selfies
Shooting stars are a unique occurrence that can happen in the game during nighttime. During the event, several meteors will streak across the starry sky.
It should be noted that shooting stars can only appear at night. If you want to see one for yourself, you can simply change the game's time and set it to nighttime.
Day Night Cycle:
How to Change the Date and Time
Shooting stars may appear randomly in the night sky. There isn't a clear indication of when they are going to appear, so just keep an eye out!
The entire scene lasts for quite some time, so there is a slim chance of you missing it, unless your camera is always directed at the ground or you are currently in a cave or underground.
