A Comet Shard is obtained as a reward for clearing the Sheer Cold Course of Snow Slope Run for the first time ontop of Glaseado.

The Snow Slope Run minigame is available aftear clearing Glaseado's Gym Battle, and the Sheer Cold Course is unlocked after clearing the Blizzard Course and Powder Snow Course.
