As you explore Paldea in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV), you will notice that some Pokemon can be found hanging up on trees. Here's a tip to better catch these Pokemon.
There are Pokemon that you can find hanging up high on trees. To catch them, you first lock on to the Pokemon with the ZL button and then throw a Pokemon from its Pokeball at them with the ZR button.
Hitting them accurately triggers a battle where you can catch them.
Sprint Mode |

By pressing the L Stick you can dash. When you crash into a tree during mid-sprint, Pokemon may fall down from the tree. |
After defeating Klawf, Koraidon/Miraidon will unlock the Sprint Mode. It's the first ability you want to gain access to because it increases your movement speed while riding! It is also an effective method to knock Pokemon down from trees.
