Unlike the Teal Mask DLC and Indigo Disk DLC, you do not need to update your game in order to get this item and access the epilogue.
You can obtain the Mythical Pecha Berry, even without a Nintendo Switch Online Membership, via Mystery Gift by following these steps:
After following these steps, you should be able to find the mystery gift with a label Mythical Pecha Berry Gift. Click this and you should be able to get the item, which shows up in the Key Items section of the Bag!

The Mythical Pecha Berry is a special item which lets you access to the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC Epilogue, where you will play through the Mochi Mayhem quest to give you a chance to capture the Mythical Pokemon Pecharunt.
To start the epilogue, make sure to get the Mythical Pecha Berry item via Mystery Gift. Once it is in your Key Items, go to Peachy's general store in Mossui Town in Kitakami and interact with the large peach nestled on your left!
You will then go into a cutscene where Arven calls you to start off Mochi Mayhem.
How to Start the Indigo Disk DLC Epilogue
The Mythical Pecha Berry is only available to all players who have purchased the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. However, do note that you need to finish the base game, the Academy Ace Tournament, and both The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk DLCs before you can play through the epilogue.
