Porto Marinada is home to an auction market where you can snag the hottest deals with your master bidding skills! Read on to see our tips on winning auctions, how to get the products you want, and what items are in store for bidders like you!
List of Contents
During an auction, there will always be a minimum winning bid the player must reach if they want to win.
However, finding this minimum bid can be tricky because it only applies to the player. If one of the two NPC buyers bows out of the auction and the player hasn't made a bid yet, the other NPC will win.
If you lose the auction or pay too much for the item, we recommend save scumming so you can work out the minimum winning bid price and get the item as cheaply as possible.
Several auctions will feature rare items that you won't be able to easily get in normal methods, and the bidding price will start high. For example, Apriballs are offered at the starting bid of ₽100,000.
Naturally, this can get even higher as other NPCs will vie to get the item, blowing up the bid. It is best toi prep you wallet if you are planning to participate at highly-priced auctions!
Money Farming Guide: How to Make Money Fast
To get an auction item as cheaply as you can always make sure other buyers bid ₽500 or ₽1,000 lower than the minimum winning bid.
This entails a mix of bidding conservatively, and using the "I'll pass for now" option to make sure you don't end up raising the final winning bid price too much. Except at the start of an auction, you can increase your bid by ₽500 or ₽1,000, which can amp up the auction price very quickly if you're not careful.
Don't use the "I'll pass for now" option too much, however, as the items might go to an NPC instead.
1 | Save the game near Porto Marinada. |
---|---|
2 | Close the Game. |
3 | Advance the Date of Your Switch by at least 72 minutes. Make sure Airplane Mode is on, and the Synchronize Clock Via Internet setting is off. |
4 | Check the new products being offered. |
5 | If the product you want is not being offered, repeat steps 3 and 4. Advance the date of your Switch again too, if necessary. |
The products being offered in the auction market reset every in-game morning. A single day in-game lasts for 72 minutes in real time, so a new set of auctions will be available in the market once an hour and 12 minutes pass by in real life. 1 Apriball can be obtained approximately every 15 minutes real time using the Re-roll Method.

The Porto Marinada Auction Market is located in the eponymous town of Porto Marinada, which is west of Cascarrafa City. If you're coming from Cascarrafa, simply go west across the Asado Desert and you'll find the town at the edge of the sea.
During an auction, you and two other NPCs will attempt to outbid each other to buy a set of items being offered by a merchant. The one who makes the highest bid wins, though you could end up paying more than what you should've for an item if you bid too high.
The Porto Marinada auctions will only be available to you once you've beaten the Cascarrafa Gym Challenge, which serves as a de facto tutorial on how to win auctions.
the items wont change even after changing the time

you need to reset the game. The guide should read "repeat steps 2-4" not "3 and 4." Personally, I like to set to yesterday, save, turn the online date back on, and just reset without saving. Each time the game loads, it rerolls like it's the first time you've logged in. What this house completely neglects to tell you is that most of the auction's listings are nearly ALWAYS bad. Premier balls, Apriballs, feathers and berries are really the only worthwhile options.
