This Florges build from Reddit user Shiromi55 is made for a setup involving Miraidon to one-shot Flying-type Pokemon in Tera Raids.
The strategy revolves on using Fairy Wind on Miraidon and force it to use its held Weakness Policy, which then activates Florges' Symbiosis to pass its Choice Specs to Miraidon.
It is then assisted by an allied Umbreon using Fake Tears on the raid boss to bring down its Special Defense stat. This team composition also includes Chi-Yu who has the Beads of Ruin Ability which further lowers the raid boss' Special Defense.
Max out Florges' HP and Defense EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense. Remember to let it hold Choice Specs, which will be given to Miraidon once Florges' Symbiosis activates.

#1 | Fake Tears | Fairy Wind | Go All Out! Cheer | Electro Drift |
This setup must be executed immediately once the raid starts to prevent the raid Pokemon from removing Miraidon's stat boosts, or else the strategy will completely fail.
As the Florges user, you simply need to attack your allied Miraidon with Fairy Wind. This will activate Miraidon's Weakness Policy, which then raises its Special Attack stat.
This in turn will activate Florges' Symbiosis and pass its held Choice Specs to Miraidon, further boosting its Special Attack.
Miraidon then only needs to wait for Umbreon to use Fake Tears on the raid boss and for the Chi-Yu user to cheer with Go all out!, before it can unleash massive damage to OHKO the raid boss with a boosted Electro Drift.

Weakness Policy |
This build seeks to synergize Florges with Armarouge, Mimikyu, and Oranguru. The strategy revolves around giving Armarouge several stat boosts and let it deal massive damage with Stored Power after the setup.
Florges' role in this strategy is to give Armarouge a second Weakness Policy to consume, which can be done with the help of Symbiosis as it activates once Armarouge consumes its initial Weakness Policy. Florges will also need to use Helping Hand to power up Armarouge before it attacks.
Max out Florges' HP and Defense EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense. Remember to let it hold Weakness Policy, which will be given to Armarouge once Florges' Symbiosis activates.
Tera Raid One-Shot Strategy | |
---|---|
#1 | Oranguru attacks Armarouge with Foul Play, activating Weak Armor and its Weakness Policy. |
#2 | Florges' Symbiosis will activate, and transfer a second Weakness Policy to Armarouge. Have Florges use Helping Hand on Armarouge. |
#3 | Mimikyu uses Fling to force Armarouge to consume a Petaya Berry, use its second Weakness Policy, and activate Weak Armor again. |
#4 | Oranguru's Symbiosis will activate and give Armarouge Choice Specs. |
#5 | Have Armarouge use Stored Power to one-shot the Raid boss. |
As the Florges user, you first need to wait for Oranguru to attack Armarouge with Foul Play. Once Armarouge consumes its own Weakness Policy, Symbiosis will activate and Florges will give it a second Weakness Policy to be used when Mimikyu attacks Armarouge.
Once Florges transfers the item to Armarouge, use Helping Hand to boost its Stored Power attack later.

Sitrus Berry |
The best ability for Florges in Tera Raid Battles is Flower Veil, which provides huge benefits to any allied Grass-type Pokemon, as they will be immune to stat drops or status conditions inflicted by the raid Pokemon.
We also recommend getting a Florges with a Fairy Tera Type because of its immunity to Dragon. As a defensive support, a Calm nature would be best.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards improving its health and Special Defense. Max out its HP and Special Defense EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. You can also let Florges hold Sitrus Berry for survivability so it can remain active in the field while supporting its allies.
For this build, Florges is meant to keep its allies alive by setting up Light Screen and Safeguard, while it can constantly heal them with Pollen Puff. Helping Hand can be used to boost an ally's move.
How to Make Best Florges Tera Raid Build |
---|
|
Florges are rare spawns in the wild, so it is recommended to just catch a Floette instead.
Floette can be easily found at North Province (Area Three), at the field east of the lighthouse in the area.
Make sure to bring a Pokemon that has False Swipe and can inflict a status effect to make it easier to catch.
Additionally, wild Floette are monotypes, so they will always have Fairy Tera Types.
Floette needs to be exposed to a Shiny Stone for it to evolve into Florges.
A Shiny Stone is available to be picked up as a dropped item in the overworld at a waterfall located at South Province (Area Six), northeast of Alfornada.

Lastly, give it a Sitrus Berry to hold so it can regain HP if its health drops low, allowing it to survive longer in the raid.
You can obtain Sitrus Berries from sparkling dropped items in Area Zero, or obtain them as rewards from 3-Star Tera Raids and up.

I am curious why all Florges Tera Raids are all Red? And when you see them on the map as different colors, they are still all Red.
