Bloodmoon Ursaluna Movesets and Best Builds

Mind's Eye

Mind's Eye
The Pokémon ignores changes to opponents' evasiveness, its accuracy can't be lowered, and it can hit Ghost types with Normal- and Fighting-type moves.

It's signature ability. Mind's Eye, works similar to Scrappy in that it allows Bloodmoon Ursaluna to hit Ghost-types with Normal and Fighting-type moves. This Ability combined with Bloodmoon Ursaluna's powerful 140 BP Blood Moon move, means even Ghost Types should be afraid! This ability also has the great additional effect of ignoring opponent's evasion changes guaranteeing a decisive blow on whoever may be on its receiving end!

Shiny Bloodmoon Ursaluna

Shiny Ursaluna Pokedex
While Bloodmoon Ursaluna is Shiny Locked in The Teal Mask, players who bring a regular Shiny Ursaluna from Legends Arceus over will be able to view Blood Moon Ursaluna's Shiny via the Kitakami Pokedex Screen! Shiny Ursaluna has an orange-brown coloration, very similar to regular Ursaring.

How to Catch Bloodmoon Ursaluna: Location

Catch 150 Pokemon in the Kitakami Dex and Complete Perrin's Bloodmoon Beast Questline

Bloodmoon Ursaluna can be caught during Perrin's Photo Survey Bloodmoon Beast questline, which is unlocked after catching 150 species in the Kitakami Dex.

During the questline, you'll need to take photos of 10 different species of Pokemon as specified by Perrin.

Blood Moon Ursaluna Fight is Similar to Titan Fights

SV Teal Mask - Ursaluna, the Bloodmoon Beast.png

After taking a photo of 10 different species of Pokemon, you'll have a battle with Bloodmoon Ursaluna. You do not have to worry about knocking it out since, when you defeat it, you will have the opportunity to catch it.

If you do not have a Poke Ball in your inventory, the game will automatically give you one.

Can You Evolve into Bloodmoon Ursaluna?

Bloodmoon Ursaluna Does Not Evolve from Ursaring

While Bloodmoon Ursaluna can breed and produce Teddiursa, the Ursaring that evolve from those Teddiursa cannot be evolved into a Bloodmoon Ursaluna because of the absence of the Peat Block that is required to evolve one.

At the moment, it seems the only way to get one is to catch the Bloodmoon Ursaluna by doing Perrin's questline.

Alternate Form of Ursaluna

Ursaluna Bloodmoon Ursaluna
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV Ursaluna Pokemon Scarlet Bloodmoon Ursaluna

Bloodmoon Ursaluna can be considered as an alternate form of the regular Ursaluna which originated from Hisui in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

Its Pokemon Scarlet Pokedex entry even implies that it was an Ursaluna from faraway that made its way to Kitakami, and its appearance changed for it to survive.

The best IVs for Bloodmoon Ursaluna for competitive play is 0 IVs in both Attack and Speed. Having 0 Attack IVs means you take the least possible damage from moves such as Foul Play, and having 0 Speed IVs means you move faster while under Trick Room.
