You have a chance to find a rare Pokemon Mark on your birthday in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV)! Read on to learn what happens during your birthday, whether you get any rewards on your birthday, and how to set it.

When you visit the Pokemon Center on your Birthday, the Nurse will greet you "Happy Birthday!". The display will also show confetti, while the top screen of the Pokemon Center will show a birthday cake.
The Birthday Celebration at the Pokemon Center is merely cosmetic however and does not result in you receiving any items, Pokemon or rewards.
Diamond Dust is a special weather phenomenon that replaces the snowy weather in the overworld. When Diamond Dust is active, snowflakes will glitter in the sky as they fall to the ground.
While it usually occurs randomly, you can go to Glaseado Mountain and see this special phenomenon on your Birthday!

Pokemon caught on your birthday have a chance of having the "Destiny Mark", which grants that Pokemon the title of "The Chosen One" when it is sent out to battle. So catch as many Pokemon as you can during your birthday, and you just might find one with this rare mark!
