Summary

Summary
Pokeball Icon Increase the damage dealt by Flash Cannon thanks to Metal Sound.

Pokeball Icon Shrug off damage from Raid Boss' moves thanks to Light Screen or Reflect.

Pokeball Icon You can potentially increase your Defense thanks to Stamina.

The best ability for Archaludon in Tera Raid Battles is Stamina due to the automatic Defense Buff it gives after getting hit. Combined with the chance of Flash Cannon to debuff the Raid Pokemon's Sp. Def, Archaludon can easily whittle down at its HP without the need for set-up moves.

Best Tera Type

We recommend getting a Archaludon with a Steel Tera Type since it will improve the power of it Steel-type Flash Cannon attack. As an Attacker with a focus on Special Moves, a Modest nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

Max out Archaludon's HP and Sp.Atk EVs while adding the remaining 4 EVs into Defense so that Archaludon can hit as hard as possible with Flash Cannon.

For this build, giving it a Shell Bell allows it to recover health while dealing damage.

Tera Raid Strategy

Archaludon Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Reflect or Light Screen in order for your Archaludon to take more Hits.
Turns 2~4 Use Metal Sound to debuff the opponent's Sp. Def.
Turns 5~7 Use Flash Cannon to build Tera Orb charge.
When Screen Runs Out Recast Reflect or Light Screen to survive the opponent's onslaught of attacks.
Turns 8+ Terastallize and use Flash Cannon. You can also use Steel Beam if you know you can easily score the KO.

Start off by setting up you screen moves if you do not get paired with a Pokemon that most likely knows it; e.g. an Umbreon or a Grimmsnarl. Afterwards, start hitting with Flash Cannon after getting your Metal Sound debuffs.

Summary

The best ability for Archaludon in Tera Raid Battles is Stamina due to the automatic Defense Buff it gives after getting hit. This ability synergizes well with Body Press, an attack which relies on the user's Defense stat. This build takes advantage of that combo and frames Archaludon as a Fighting Tera Type attacker.

It can also hold a Shell Bell to help Archaludon recover health as it attacks.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Archaludon with a with a Fighting Tera Type for this build to improve the damage output of Body Press. As a Def scaling physical attacker, an Bold Nature would be best.

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards bulky offense. Max out your HP and Def EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense.

Tera Raid Strategy

Archaludon Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Light Screen or Reflect to help the team take more hits.
Turns 2~4 Use Iron Defense to build up Archaludon's Defense stat.
Turns 4~7 Use Body Press to deal damage and charge up your Tera Orb.
Turns 8+ Terastallize and use a boosted Body Press to deal massive damage.

Start the raid with your chosen Screen move to raise the party's overall bulk. Follow it up with Iron Defense to raise Archaludon's Defense stat by up to six stages, then attack with Body Press. The move's damage output will be improved due to Archaludon's Defense boosts, which is the main strategy behind this build.

Terastallize when you can to power up Body Press even further. If the enemy sets up their own screen, you can use Brick Break to help out.
