Summary

Mew is an amazing pick for this raid as it has excellent stat line, gets a huge boost in its stats during this specific raid, and a wide move pool.

This build makes use of the moves Amnesia and Bulk Up to efficiently tank Mewtwo's Attacks in order to safely attack with Leech Life. Mud-Slap is used at the start to efficiently lower Mewtwo's accuracy to score some free hits and buffs.

An ally Bellibolt and Mudsdale are absolutely required for this build as even when Leech Life is at 16 PP, Mew does not have enough PP or survivability to solo Mewtwo by itself if you don't have these two NPC support Pokemon.

Other Mew Tera Raid Builds

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting Mew with a Bug Tera Type to make Leech Life a more potent attacking move. As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would work best for this Pokemon.

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's Def and Atk stats. Max out the Attack EVs, while allocating 210 EVs on Defense and 48 for Speed. The 48 Speed EVs are there for you to always outspeed the Mewtwo Raid Boss.

Equip the Pokemon with the Silver Powder to give it great damage output combined with healing with Leech Life.

Tera Raid Strategy

Mew Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turns 1~2 Use Mud-Slap to score some free buffs against Mewtwo.
Turns 2~8 Use Amnesia and Bulk Up to boost your stats.
Your Stats Reset Feel free to set any buffs or debuffs you might have lost.
Turns 9+ Use Leech Life multiple times to attack until Mewtwo is defeated. Terastallize when you are able to.

Start the raid by setting up a few Mud-Slaps to help out with surviving Mewtwo's powerful attacks. With Leech Life being your main attacking move.

With access to Amnesia and Bulk Up, Mew should be able to tank a lot of hits even if Mewtwo has a substantial amount of buffs from Calm Mind.

25~30 Turns to Beat 7-Star Mewtwo

Pokemon Scarlet Violet - Mewtwo Raid Banner.png
Using this strategy it should take approximately 25~30 turns to take out 7-Star Mewtwo. More turns may be required, depending on when Mewtwo will reset stat changes.
