Defensive alternative to the frail Gengar. Access to both Nasty Plot and Acid Spray. Poison Puppeteer can confuse the Raid Boss letting you score some free hits. |
The best ability for Pecharunt in Tera Raid Battles is Poison Puppeteer. This will let you score some free hits by inflicting Confusion on the Raid Boss.
With access to both Nasty Plot and Acid Spray, Pecharunt will contribute a great amount of damage on Tera Raid Bosses while tanking a lot of hits thanks to its high Defense stat.
We also recommend getting a Pecharunt with a Poison Tera Type to make its Poison-type moves more powerful. As a Special Attacker, a Modest nature would work best for this Pokemon.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards increasing the Pokemon's HP and Sp.Atk stats. Max out these EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Equip the Pokemon with Shell Bell to regain HP when using damaging moves.
Pecharunt Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1~6 | Alternate the use of Acid Spray and Nasty Plot to lower the Raid Boss' Sp.Def and build up Tera Orb charge. |
Turns 7+ | Terastallize and use Malignant Chain or Sludge Wave to attack. Refresh your buffs if needed. |
Shred the Raid Boss' Sp. Def using Acid Spray while also building up Tera Orb charges in the process or buff up with Nasty Plot to max out your Special Attack.
Once you have enough Tera Orb charges, Terastallize and use Sludge Wave or Malignant Chain to deal substantial damage to the Raid Boss.
Besides Sludge Wave, you can also use Venoshock if you know you're running a full Poison-type party. This will guarantee that Poison will have high uptime on the Raid Boss.

The best ability for Pecharunt in Tera Raid Battles is Poison Puppeteer. This will let you score some free hits by inflicting Confusion on the Raid Boss. This synergizes well with the Hex build as you want the Raid Boss to be poisoned anyways.
With access to both Nasty Plot and Acid Spray, Pecharunt will contribute a great amount of damage on Tera Raid Bosses while tanking a lot of hits thanks to its high Defense stat.
We also recommend getting a Pecharunt with a Ghost Tera Type to make its Ghost-type moves more powerful. As a Special Attacker, a Modest nature would work best for this Pokemon.

The Indigo Disk DLC Epilogue Story Walkthrough
If the Pecharunt build you are following requires it to have a different Tera type, you will need to have 50 Tera Shards of the type you need, and bring it to Medali to have your Pokemon's Tera Type changed.
If it has a different nature, you can use Modest Mint to change its nature to Modest.
The easiest way to get this is by buying it from the Chansey Supply shop at Mesagoza for ₽20,000.
How to Change a Pokemon's Nature
EV train Pecharunt according to the build's EV spread using Vitamins, Mochis, or the traditional way with Power Items and battling Pokemon with the right EV yield.
Vitamins can be bought at any Chansey Supply shop and it will cost you ₽530,000 to fully train a Pokemon. Meanwhile, Mochi can be obtained through the Ogre Oustin' Minigame.
If you have the money for it, you can just buy 26 HP Up (for HP), 26 Calcium (for Sp. Atk), and 1 Iron (for Def).. All of these items can be bought at a Chansey Supply shop and it will cost you ₽530,000 in total. You can also use Mochis in place of the Vitamins.
Alternatively, you can use Power Items that you can buy at a Delibird Presents shop for ₽10,000 each. Have your Pokemon hold the respective Power Item while defeating the Pokemon listed below.
Held Item | Number of Pokemon to Defeat | Defeat Any of These Pokemon |
---|---|---|
Power Weight
(For HP EVs) |
28 in Total (To get 252 HP EVs) |
・Azurill ・Lechonk ・Paldean Wooper Location: South of Los Platos |
Power Lens
(For Special Attack EVs) |

・Psyduck ・Toxel ・Hatenna Location: South Province (Area 4) |
Power Belt
(For Defense EVs) |

・Nacli Location: South Province (Area 3) |
After EV training it, head to Montenevera and talk to the man with an Abomasnow near the Pokemon Center. He will hyper train your Pokemon using Bottle Caps.
A Bottle Cap can be bought at the Delibird Presents shops for ₽20,000 after getting 6 Gym Badges. 1 Bottle Cap is needed for each stat that will be maxed out.
Hyper Training: How to Increase IVs
Next, level it up to 100 to maximize its stats. The easiest way to do this is by farming Exp candies from Tera Raid Battles.
