Game8's Pokemon stat calculator can determine the stats of any Pokemon from its level, base stats, Nature, EVs, and IVs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). Check the stat values of each Pokemon for competitive battle or for your story playthrough.

How to Use the Stat Calculator

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Stat Calculator Explanation.png

  1. Search for any Pokemon from the search bar at the top. (The first letter of the Pokemon's name must be capitalized, sorry, we will fix this soon!)
  2. Specify its Level.
  3. Specify which stat is boosted, and which is lowered by its Nature.
  4. Enter a number of IVs from 0-31. If you're not sure how to check this, try our IV Calculator or unlock the Judge Function in-game. You can also simply use Hyper Training to hit 31 in any stat.
  5. Enter a number of EVs from 0-252. Check our guide on How to Check EVs to determine the number.
  6. Check the number of EVs Left to see if there are still any more EVs to distribute.
  7. Confirm the stat values of your Pokemon!

Speed-affecting Factors

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Speed-affecting factors.png

Use the Speed-affecting factors section at the bottom to calculate whether you can outspeed an opponent in a competitive battle.

  • Held Item: Choose 1.5 for an item like Choice Scarf which boosts Speed by 1.5x, or 2 for an item like Quick Powder which doubles Speed.
  • Stage: Can go up to +6 or down to -6.
  • x2: For abilities like Sand Rush which double the Speed stat.
  • Paralysis: Halves the Speed stat when Paralyzed.

Advanced Tips

  • Although dropdowns will appear for 0/31 and 0/252 for the IV and EV options, you can choose any number by simply typing it in!
  • At Level 50 only, you can change the stat values directly. This will allow you to calculate the EVs of any Pokemon if you know the nature, IVs, and stat values.

Your stat calc is definitely WAY off on HP values. Was hoping to use this to figure out EVs I got through the game to see how many berries to use to lower. But the HP on this is horribly off. Basically, the BASE HP on a Ceruledge at 0 IVs and no EVs should be 260, this calc says 200 at 31 IVs and 0 EVs. Gotta find another calc.
