Chien-Pao and Chi-Yu are great for Hyper Offense Teams. Teams that want to deal damage fast will greatly benefit from having these two and their signature Abilities on their teams.

Stall

Ting-Lu and Wo-Chien are welcome additions to Defensive Stall Teams thanks to their signature Abilities. Teams that want to outlast opponents with rock-hard defense will appreciate having these two on their teams.

Use Defensive Items

Chien-Pao can debuff the opponents' Defense stat, giving way for Tera Normal Dragonite to Extreme Speed everything for important KOs.

Turns 2~4 Use Swords Dance to boost Chien-Pao's attack stat.
Turns 5+ Use Ice Spinner and KO the opponent.
Optional Use Snowscape to boost the Defense of Ice-type Pokemon on the field, including Chien-Pao.

Start the Tera Raid battle by using Taunt to prevent the opponent from using status moves. Set up with Swords Dance twice to boost Chien-Pao's Attack by four stages.

Use Ice Spinner to deal super effective damage. Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, terastallize into an Ice-type and use boosted Ice Spinner to finish the raid.

Turn 5 Use Taunt to disable the raid Pokemon's status moves.
Turns 6~8 Use Body Press to deal boosted damage
Turns 9+ Terastallize and use Body Press. Re-apply Taunt when needed

Access to Taunt allows it to disable status moves, while the Hang Tough! cheer boosts you and your team's defenses. Body Press is its main offensive move which uses its boosted Defense stat to calculate damage instead of its Attack stat. Snarl and Sleep Talk are filler moves which serve the purpose of lowering the Raid Boss' Special Attack, and countering the Sleep Status Condition respectively.

Wo-Chien Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Sunny Day to set up for boosted Growths.
Turns 2~4 Use Growth to get +6 Sp.Atk.
Turns 5~7 Use Giga Drain to recover health and charge your Tera Orb.
Turn 8 Use Sunny Day to set up for one-turn Solar Beams
Turn 9+ Terastallize and use Solar Beam for massive one-turn damage.

At the start of the raid, summon harsh sunlight with Sunny Day then use Growth on the next three turns. With the sun present, you will get a +2 boost to Wo-Chien's Special Attack stat from Growth instead of just +1, so you can max out your stat boost in just three turns.

After using Growth thrice, attack with Giga Drain for three turns to damage the raid boss, heal Wo-Chien, and most importantly, charge your Tera Orb.

Once your Tera Orb is fully-charged, use Sunny Day first to summon sunlight again, then Terastallize on the next turn and dish out massive damage with Solar Beam. Having the sun up will remove the one-turn charge time of Solar Beam and allow Wo-Chien to perform the attack immediately.

Treasures of Ruin Abilities and Exclusive Move

Treasures of Ruin Ability Differences

All four Treasures of Ruin Pokemon have signature Abilities that lower a specific stat of all other active Pokemon in the field by 25%. Each Ability decreases a different stat.

Pokemon Ability Stat Lowered
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Wo-Chien Wo-Chien Tablets of Ruin Attack
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Chien-Pao Chien-Pao Sword of Ruin Defense
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Ting-Lu Ting-Lu Vessel of Ruin Special Attack
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Chi-Yu Chi-Yu Beads of Ruin Special Defense

Decreases Opponent's Stat by 25%

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Tresures of Ruin Ability

If one of the Treasures of Ruin Pokemon is sent out in battle, their signature Ability will activate which will lower a certain stat of every other Pokemon in the field.

If two Treasures of Ruin with the same Ability are sent out in the field (i.e. you and your opponent sent out Wo-Chien), they will not be affected by the opposing Pokemon's Ability.

These Abilities will give more benefits when used during Doubles battles, as you can lower the stat of both of your opponent's Pokemon, although keep it in mind that it also affects your other Pokemon. The stat drops are also present during Tera Raid battles.

Ruination Exclusive Move

All of the Treasures of Ruin also share the same move called Ruination, a special Dark-type move.

Reduce Opponent's Health by 50% of Current HP

Effect Damages the opponent for 50% of its current HP.
Type Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Dark Type Moves Category Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Special Moves
Power - Accuracy 90
PP (Max PP) 10 (16) Target Single opponent
Priority 0 Contact? TBD
Special Groups Set Damage Moves

Ruination damages the target for 50% of its current HP.

This move is handy against tanky Pokemon with full HP, although will become less useful as the target's health decreases.

Additionally, the move is not effective during Tera Raid Battles as it will not reduce a raid boss' health to half when used on them at the start of the raid.
