Syrupy Apples bought in Kitakami can be sold for a net profit, allowing trainers to essentially get infinite money, albeit very slowly. Read on to learn how to farm money using Syrupy Apples and how it compares to other Money Farming methods in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) Teal Mask DLC.

The new item, Syrupy Apple, was introduced in the Teal Mask DLC as an Evolution Item for Applin to evolve into Dipplin. However, it seems that it can also be used for an inefficient method of Money Farming. The steps are as follows:
Found on the southeast area of Kitakami's Map, Syrupy Apples can be bought at a lone shack by an apple orchard in the Mossfell Confluence. An unmanned stall will have them for sale at ₽500 a piece.
Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to buy the Syrupy Apples in bulk, and you'll instead have to buy them one at a time. You can mindlessly spam A, or use a Turbo Controller to spam A for you. Either way, this should earn you about 13 Syrupy Apples per minute.
Once you've amassed a large quantity of Syrupy Apples, fly to your closest Mart to sell the Syrupy Apples. They can be found in the Other Items Pocket of your bag, grouped together with other evolutionary items. Each Syrupy Apple sells for ₽550 a piece, giving you a net profit of ₽50.
Consider that if you spent an hour spamming, you would have bought about 780 Syrupy Apples; when sold would yield a net profit ₽39,000. Sure you spent 390,000 to get those 780 apples, but a 10% return for free is still a good deal!
While the discovery of this profitable scheme may be charming, there are better ways to farm for money in this game. If you're relying on mashing A or a turbo controller anyway, it may be best to stick with the tried-and-true method of farming the Academy Ace Tournament.
By having a specifically built Sylveon with an Amulet Coin, you can mash A and Hyper Voice your way through the Academy Ace Tournament repeatedly for about ₽105,600 per set. A win from one trainer alone already earns you about ₽52,800 which is already more than what you'd earn from an hour's worth of Syrupy Apples, further cementing this method as superior for Money Farming.
While not as mindless as just spamming A, you can further maximize profits by using Happy Hour to double your earnings from battles. Read more about this method in our detailed money farming guide.
