This build uses Technician Ability to boost the power of Force Palm which becomes a 90 Base Power move.
Fighting Tera Type is best for this build to give it STAB on its Fighting-type moves. An Adamant Nature is necessary so that it can hit as hard as possible with its physical moves.
Max out Breloom's HP and Atk EVs while adding the remaining 4 EVs into Defense.
For this build, giving it a Shell Bell allows it to recover health while dealing damage and stacks with Drain Punch.
Breloom Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1~3 | Use Drain Punch three times to deal damage and build up Tera Orb Charge. Note: Even if Breloom faints, it will still retain its Tera Orb Charge. |
Turns 4~6 | Use Swords Dance three times to raise Breloom's Attack by six stages. Note: Make sure to boost Breloom's Attack after the raid Pokemon resets all stat changes. |
Turns 8+ | Terastallize into a Fighting-type and keep using boosted Force Palm to KO the raid Pokemon. Note: If you manage to paralyze the target, you can take a chance and use Focus Punch to deal massive damage. |
Start the battle by using Drain Punch three times to build up deal damage and build up Tera Orb Charge. Take note that even if Breloom faints, it will still retain its Tera Orb Charge.
Once the raid Pokemon resets all stat changes, use Swords Dance three times to raise Breloom's Attack by 6 stages.
With enough Tera Orb charge, terastallize into a Fighting-type and use boosted Force Palm until the raid Pokemon is KO'd. If you manage to inflict paralysis with Force Palm, you can take a chance and use Focus Punch to deal massive damage.

This Fighting Tera Raid Build is an effective counter to Ice, Normal, Rock, Dark and Steel Tera Raids.
If the Tera Raid Boss is usually a Flying, Poison, Fire, Psychic, Ice or Fairy-type outside of Terastallization, perhaps use a different build as Breloom will be weak to these Types.

The best ability for Breloom in Tera Raid Battles is Poison Heal, as Poison Heal gives Breloom reliable incremental recovery and protection from status conditions.
We also recommend getting a Breloom with a Grass Tera Type because this will boost Breloom's STAB Seed Bombs when it Terastallizes. As a Physical Attacker, an Adamant nature would be best.
Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards a bulky offense to help with survivability and with dealing as much damage as possible. Max out your HP and Attack EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Special Defense.
Swords Dance Breloom Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy | |
---|---|
Turn 1 | Use Spore to put the raid Pokemon to sleep. |
Turns 2~4 | Use Swords Dance to boost Breloom's Attack multiple times. |
Turns 5+ | Terastallize and use Seed Bomb until the raid Pokemon is KO'd. |
Start the Tera Raid battle by using Spore to prevent the opponent from getting an offense going. Set up with Swords Dance three times to boost Breloom's Attack by six stages. Do this again if your stats have been reset.
Use Seed Bomb to deal massive damage. Once you have enough Tera Orb charge, terastallize into a Grass-type and keep using boosted Seed Bomb to finish the raid.

This Breloom Tera Raid Build is an effective counter to Ground, Rock, and Water Type Tera Raid Bosses. If the Tera Raid Boss is usually a Fire, Psychic, or Flying Type outside of Terastallization, perhaps consider a different build, as Breloom will be weak to these Types as a Grass/Fighting Type attacker.
