Mossui Town serves as your base of operations or defacto Home Town in the Part 1 DLC: The Teal Mask for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV). During your school trip to Kitakami you stay there and enjoy the Festival of Masks, Stalls, Loyalty Plaza, new returning Pokemon and more!
List of Contents

Mossui Town is kind of like your Home Town away from home, while on your school trip in Kitakami! The town appears to be buzzing with energy, activities and Pokemon, and rich in culture and tradition!
The Teal Mask:
DLC Part 1 Release Date and New Pokemon

On the East-side of town, at the Kitakami Hall, you can participate in the Festival of Masks! This is a traditional festival with a deep history, that involves various stalls, Pokemon, and you guessed it, masks!

Closeby to Mossui Town is a Park called Loyalty Square. Here the Momotaro Trio are depicted in statue form and treated with affection and respect by the locals, acquiring the nickname, The Loyal Three. These statues depict the 3 new speculated Legendary Pokemon: Okidogi, Fezandipiti and Munkidori. There is also great scenery to be seen such as rice paddys and fields.

Trainers will get the chance to photograph Pokemon in the Timeless Woods, a place where the people of Kitakami rarely go.
There, you will be tasked with taking photos of various Pokemon in different settings and poses, similar to Pokemon Snap, and have Perrin judge them as a mini game! You will likely need to make full use of the new Rotostick in order to clear these tasks!

Lots of Pokemon have been spotted in Mossui Town and the surrounding areas! Of these, there is a large amount of Johto Region Pokemon!

Version Exclusive Pokemon have also been confirmed for the DLC, with the Aipom line exclusive to Violet and the Gligar line only found in Pokemon Scarlet.
If you are unable to obtain your desired Pokemon in your version of the game, don't panic, you are able to obtain both Aipom and Gligar in Pokemon Legends Arceus, which you can then import through Pokemon HOME
