Buy Lots of Healing Items

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet - Healing Items

You should prepare plenty of healing items when you challenge the Elite Four. When you begin, you will not be able to go to a Pokemon Center or get any more items, so make sure you buy or stock up on enough items to last throughout the challenge.

Clear the Other Stories

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Path of Legends Pokemon Scarlet and Violet SV - Starfall Street

If you fail to beat the Elite Four, try finishing the two other story quests. Both the Path of Legends and Starfall Street feature a plethora of strong trainers and Pokemon for you to challenge so you will be able to get lots of experience to level up your Pokemon, as well as new TMs which may come in handy.

Raise Your Team's Levels to at Least Level 58

You should make sure your Pokemon's levels are as high as possible. All Pokemon belonging to Elite Four members and the Champion are around Level 60, so you should try to make sure your Pokemon at least match them. If there is a large gap in levels between your strongest and weakest Pokemon in your party, try to level it out before you start your challenge.

Focus on taking out Geeta's Kingambit quickly with Fire or Fighting-type moves, since its Supreme Overlord Ability makes it more powerful each time a Pokemon has been defeated before it. Try to bring a Steel-Type Pokemon with you to make quick work of half of Geeta's Team.

Enter the Pokemon league to Fight the Elite Four

Even though you can access the area containing the Pokemon League before defeating all Gym Leaders, you cannot proceed to fight the Elite Four unless you have completed the Victory Road Story Path. We recommend doing so regardless, as this will allow you to take on the Elite Four with a team of adequately leveled Pokemon.
