Most Pokemon only need to reach a certain level in order to evolve. This is probably the easiest evolution method since your Pokemon naturally gain experience points and levels when you use them.
Note that some Pokemon may need to level up during a certain time of day. For a few Pokemon species, like Espurr, evolution may also depend on the gender of your Pokemon.
