List of Contents
Klawf, the Stony Cliff Titan, is located in South Province (Area Three). Head towards the east gate of Mesagoza, traveling through the vairous cliffs and caves to reach it. There are no particular roadblocks on the way to Klawf, and you can see it by the cliffs when you arrive!

Level up your Pokemon to 16 Catch and level up Grass and Water Pokemon
|
By levelling your Pokemon to level 16, you can easily defeat Klawf even without using Super Effective moves. Levelling your Starter Pokemon to Level 16 also allows it to evolve, giving you access to better stats and stronger moves! Since you only have to battle Klawf twice, even if the level of your other Pokemon are lower, you can easily win if you have 1 Pokemon with a type advantage.
Since Klawf is a rock type, you can easily reduce its HP by attacking it using Grass or Water type moves.

When Klawf's HP drops below half, it's Attack, Special Attack, and Speed increases, while its Defense and Special Defense decreases. If you reduce Klawf's HP using a Pokemon with low speed, you will be preemptively attacked after that, so we recommend attacking Klawf with Super Effective moves when its HP drops to half, preferrably using a Pokemon with a high Speed stat!
All New Gen 9 Abilities
During the initial battle, the only option is to defeat Klawf. However, after defeating Klawf, it will be back in its regular non Titan size the next time you return to the area. You are then able to catch it. As Klawf is a Rock type, be sure to bring along a Pokemon that can resist its attacks such as Makuhita. Make sure to stock up on Pokeballs, with Great Ball and Ultra Ball being the common options, but under certain conditions, special Pokeballs such as Dusk Balls, Timer Balls, and Repeat Balls can be more effective.
List of All Pokeballs
Since Klawf is a Rock type Pokemon, using Grass Type Pokemon can make the battle easier. Grass type Pokemon also often have access to moves like Stun Spore and Sleep Powder, which can help increase your chances of catching Klawf.
If you have access to a Pokemon that knows the move False Swipe, using the move when Klawf is low on HP can ensure that it will not faint, as False Swipe always leaves the target with at least 1 HP.
False Swipe TM Location (TM057) and Pokemon that Learn it
Pokemon that were previously Titan Pokemon will also have a special Mark, along with the Title: Former Titan which is presented as in game battle text denoting that they were previously Titan Pokemon. If you do capture them or accidentally defeat them a second time, the Titan Pokemon will no longer appear in the area however, so choose wisely.
List of Marks and How to Get All Marks
The Titan Klawf is the Largest Klawf that exists in the game. Showing it to the person who gives you the Size-Dex gives your Klawf a Jumbo Mark, and the Title: The Great to denote that it is the largest amongst its species!
How to Catch Titan Pokemon
Unfortunately, as with all of the other static encounter in the game, such as the Starter Pokemon and Legendaries, the Titan Pokemon are shiny locked. This includes your second encounter with them in their regular sized form, so unfortunately you will not be able to shiny hunt for a shiny former Titan.
