How to Increase Tera Raid Star Level

Catch Female Indeedee With Trick Room

Usually, only the Male Indeedee can learn the move Trick Room, but in 5-Star Tera Raids, the Female Variant also has access to the move.

After catching the Female Indeedee from the 5-Star Raid den, it will still have the move afterwards, and can even be used in Ranked Battles!

Kingambit is the best attacker against Indeedee, with its natural bulk and resistance to all of Indeedee's damaging moves, taking half damage from Normal and Ghost, and immunity to Psychic.

Kingambit also has a lower base Speed stat than Indeedee, allowing it to attack first under Trick Room.

At the start of the raid, use Swords Dance to boost Kingambit's damage output.

Use the Go All Out! Cheer to further boost your damage for the next three turns.

After your setup, deal damage using Kowtow Cleave, or Iron Head. If Indeedee's Tera Type resists both of your STAB moves, use Zen Headbutt instead.

With Kingambit's damage, Indeedee will most likely put up its Energy Shield by Turn 6 or 7. It should also be around 40% HP by then, prompting it to reset your Stat Changes.

Take 1~2 turns to setup Swords Dance again, then Terastallize and attack to finish the Raid.

Using this strategy we approximate it will take 10~11 turns to defeat 5-Star Indeedee solo.

At the start of the raid, use Sunny Day to boost Roaring Moon's Attack stat from Protosynthesis. Afterwards, use Throat Chop to deal damage and disable Indeedee's Hyper Voice.

When you can, Terastallize Roaring Moon and continue using Throat Chop to deal maximum damage.

If the Indeedee's Tera Type resists Dark-type moves, you can use STAB Dragon Claw, or Sun-Boosted Fire Fang instead.

Using this strategy, we approximate it will take 14-15 turns to solo 5-Star Indeedee.

At the start of the raid, Annihilape should immediately start stacking Swords Dance buffs, to maximize your Attack stat. Corviknight should then use Light Screen to further decrease the effectiveness of Special moves, allowing your team to freely set up.

On turns 2~4, both Pokemon should continue with their respective setups, with Kingambit's Swords Dance and Corviknight's Screech.

On turn 4, Kingambit should use a Go All Out! Cheer to further boost the team's Attack Stat for the next three turns, while Corviknight finishes its Screech setup.

On turn 5, Kingambit's Kowtow Cleave should result in a OHKO, but having Corviknight's Brave Bird as a backup can ensure a turn 5 KO.

Using this strategy, we approximate it will take 5~6 turns to defeat the 5-Star Indeedee.
