Metal Alloy is an Evolution Item in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (SV) DLC, The Indigo Disk. See the effects of Metal Alloy as well as how to find and obtain it.

How to Get Metal Alloy

Obtain From Chargestone Cave in Canyon Biome

A Metal Alloy can be found inside Chargestone Cave in the Canyon Biome.

To get to where the Metal Alloy is, follow the steps below:

  1. Enter the cave from the southern entrance indicated in the image above.
  2. Once inside, climb to the upper level of the cave using Koraidon or Miraidon.
  3. Continue forward to find a Wild Tera Porygon on the rock bridge and a large electrified crystal to your right.
  4. The Metal Alloy can be found on the ground beside the large electrified crystal seen in the picture.

Purchase in the School Store in Blueberry Academy

For 300 BP, you can purchase a Metal Alloy from the School Store. Access the School Store by going to the gates beside Blueberry Academy's receptionist at the school's entrance.

Complete Blueberry Quests (BBQ) alone or with other players via Union Circle to earn BP.

How to Farm BP in the Indigo Disk

Obtain as Blueberry Pokedex Reward

A Metal Alloy will be rewarded after registering 190 Pokemon in the Blueberry Pokedex.

To claim the reward, press the X button in the Blueberry Pokedex menu to open the Pokedex Rewards menu. Afterward, press the X button again to claim the reward.

since this guide was not the best and i couldnt find it using the steps i just went and bought it much better option than following this guiide

I've searched on the 2 locations where Metal Alloy can presumably be found in the Canyon region, and found nothing. If it's in a cave somehow, you need to say it.
