Summary

The best Ability for Delphox in Tera Raid Battles is Blaze, while it cannot benefit from the boost in Fire tyme moves, it is easier to get one with Blaze instead of Magician.

Best Tera Type

We recommend getting a Delphox with a Psychic Tera Type since it will improve the power of its Psychic-type Stored Power. As an Attacker with a focus on Special Moves, a Modest nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

Max out Delphox's HP and Sp.Atk EVs while adding the remaining 4 EVs into Defense so that Delphox can hit as hard as possible with Stored Power and Draining Kiss.

For this build, giving it a Shell Bell allows it to recover health while dealing damage.

Tera Raid Strategy

Delphox Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1~3 Use Nasty Plot to max out your Sp. Atk Stat.
Turns 4~6 Use Agiility to max out Delphox's Speed.
Note: If you find yourself low on HP while setting up, use Stored Power in between Status moves to heal yourself while also building Tera Orb charge.
Turns ~10+ Terastallize and use Stored Power to deal a lot of damage!

Start off by setting up your buffing moves with Nasty Plot and Agility. This will give Delphox a lot of buffs for Stored Power to hit harder.

If needed, you can also heal yourself with Stored Power . You also need to do this in order to build up Tera Orb charges!

When you have enough Tera Orb charge to terastallize, proceed to Terastalize and start spamming Stored Power to damage the raid Pokemon's shield and finish the battle!

Summary

The best Ability for Delphox in Tera Raid Battles is Blaze, which gives it a 50% boost to its Fire-type moves when the user's HP is below 1/3 its max..

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Delphox with a Fire Tera Type to further boost thhe power of its Fire-type STAB. Since it's a Special Attacker, a Modest nature is best to boost its offenses.

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards a bulky offense to help with survivability and dealing as much damage as possible. Max out your HP and Special Attack EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Shell Bell allows it to recover some HP while still attacking.

Tera Raid Strategy

Delphox Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Optional Use Light Screen or Reflect to increase the party's bulk.
Turns 1~3 Use Nasty Plot to max out your Sp. Atk.
Turn 4 Use Sunny Day to boost your Fire type Moves and weaken any Water moves that the Raid Boss could potentially carry.
Turns 5~7 Use Mystical Fire when facing a Special Attacker to lower their Special Attack.
Use Flamethrower when facing a Physical Attacker for a chance to Burn and lower their Attack
Turn 8+ Terastalize when you have enough Tera Orb Charges and continue attacking with your chosen Fire move.

Start the Tera Raid battle with Nasty Plot and Sunny Day to deal more damage with your chosen Fire Type move. Optionally you can also start off the raid with Light Screen or Reflect in order to increase your overall bulk.

Mystical Fire and Flamethrower are used in this build and can be interchangeable depending whether or not the opponent you are facing is a Special attacker or a Physical attacker respectively.

Summary

Unrivaled Delphox comes with the Ability Magician which will let it steal items from opponents when attacked. This doesn't impact Tera Raids, but you can breed another Delphox for Blaze instead and just change its Tera Type that way.

Best Tera Type

the Unrivaled Delphox already comes with a Fairy Tera Type to further boost thhe power of its Fairy-type STAB. Since it's a Special Attacker, changing its nature to Modest nature is best to boost its offenses.

Summary

The best Ability for Delphox in Tera Raid Battles is Blaze, while it cannot benefit from the boost in Fire tyme moves, it is easier to get one with Blaze instead of Magician.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Delphox with any Tera Type as it doesn't matter what Tera Type your Delphox is as it has no way to terastallize with this build. As a Defensive Wall, a Calm nature would be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

This build aims to make Delphox as tanky as possible against special attacks. Max out your HP and Special Defense EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Give it Light Clay to extend the duration of your screens.

Tera Raid Strategy

Delphox Tera Raid Situational Strategies
Ally Buffer Use Howl to buff the entire raid party's Attack stat. You can also set up Screen Moves to bloster defenses.
Debuffer Use Charm or Mystical Fire to decrease the Raid Boss' damage output. Use Tail Whip to let your allies deal more damage.
Additional Damage When free, use Helping Hand on allies to let them deal more damage.

In this Build, Delphox functions as a debuffer and buffer for tera raid paties that focuses on Physical attackers.

Start the raid by setting up wither a Reflect or Light Screen depending on the situation. Follow it up with continued usage of Howl to boost your allies' Attack stats.

Charm and Mystical Fire are use so that the enemy's damage output can easily be mitigated in conjunction with your chosen screen move.

You can also help supplement your allies' damage by using Helping Hand or Tail Whip for more damage.

Best Tera Type

We also recommend getting a Grimmsnarl with a Dark Tera Type as it will turn Psychic-type resistance into an immunity and will increase Foul Play's power when Delphox Terastallizes. Despite Foul Play being Physical, it scales off the Raid Boss' Attack stat so a Modest nature would still be best.
Best Tera Types: Best Pokemon to Terastallize

EV Spread Explanation

Tera Raid EV spreads should lean towards a bulky offense to help with survivability and dealing as much damage as possible. Max out your HP and Special Attack EVs, while adding the remaining EVs into Defense. Shell Bell allows it to recover some HP while still attacking.

Tera Raid Strategy

Delphox Tera Raid Turn-by-Turn Counter Strategy
Turn 1 Use Reflect to increase the party's bulk.
Turns 2~4 Use Tail Whip to lower opponent's Defense.
Turn 5+ Use Foul Play or Psyshock to deal damage to the opponent. Terastalize when you are able to and set up buffs when needed.

Start off the raid with Reflect in order to increase your party's resistance to Physical Attacks. You can also help supplement your allies' damage by using Tail Whip for more damage.

This build focuses on attacking with Foul Play to deal Physical damage to your opponent while being a Special attacker. This set heavily relies on your opponent having high Physical attack so choose another build if you are facing a Special Attacker.

Psyshock is used iin this build to further deal STAB physical damage on opponents that scales on the raid boss, but it can be substituted for Shadow Ball as Ghost and Dark essentially share the same offensive type coverage.
