Flying Tera Type

Flying-type Pokemon will benefit from Terastallizing to their own type primarily to boost the power of Flying-type attacks. Doing so will also get rid of the weaknesses of its other type, if there are any.

Ground Tera Type

A defensive Ground Tera Type for Flying-type Pokemon will allow them to be immune to the most common Electric-type moves that are used to counter Flying-type Pokemon and help them resist Rock-type attacks.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Ground with Ground Tera Shards.

Steel Tera Type

Another viable defensive Tera Type for Flying-type Pokemon is Steel, which helps them resist Ice and Rock-type moves and neutralize damage from Electric-type attacks.

You can change your Pokemon's Tera Type to Steel with Steel Tera Shards.
