Item Printer is a new feature that allows players to convert Pokemon Materials into rare items introduced in the Indigo Disk DLC of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Read on for a list of Item Printer Recipes, how to use the Item Printer, and how to unlock it.
List of Contents
The Item Printer was found to generate items the second you press the "I want to print something" text. This can then be exploited by changing your Nintendo Switch's internal time and obtain prints that are consistent and can be replicated by anyone.
How to Do the Indigo Disk Item Printer RNG Exploit
You can get the Item Printer when you donate 200 BP to Science Club member Reese to complete her request, "Seeking testers for our Item Printer".
Upgrade Tier | How to Unlock / Upgrade Rewards | Upgrade Cost |
---|---|---|
1 | Use Item Printer 30 times ・Uses less BP and materials ・ Double Item chance added |
200 BP |
2 | Use Item Printer 80 times ・Uses less BP and materials ・Poke Ball Lotto function |
500 BP |
3 | Use Item Printer 100 times ・Prints Stellar Tera Shards ・Prints multiples of the same item |
1000 BP |
Printing a certain amount of items allows you to upgrade the Item Printer even further. Talk to Reese at the League Club and choose "I want to make it better".
The Item Printer's base form resembles a normal Poke Ball. The top part of the ball isn't fully red like a normal Poke Ball does but it's simplistic design sure matches a normal Poke Ball.
The first upgrade unlocks the Double Chance feature. This gives you a rare chance of getting double items for the next print job. The appearance of the Item Printer also changes to resemble a Great Ball.
The second upgrade unlocks the Poke Ball Lotto feature. This causes Item Printer to dispense a number of different Poke Balls instead of the usual pool of items.
The appearance of the Item Printer also changes to resemble a Ultra Ball.
The final upgrade gives the Item Printer the ability to print Stellar Tera Shards and it can print multiples of the same item. The appearance of the Item Printer also changes to resemble a Master Ball.
