Zapapico Location
Northeast of the Great Crater

Charcadet can evolve into Armarouge in Pokemon Scarlet, or Ceruledge in Pokemon Violet. A man in a town called Zapapico will trade you Auspicious Armor for 10 Bronzor Fragments in Pokemon Scarlet.

To reach Zapapico, you must have the Swim Upgrade for Koraidon, which is unlocked by defeating the Flying Titan, Bombirdier, on the west end of the map.

Best Bronzor Location

Bronzor Location
West of the Dark-Type Team Star Leader

Bronzor are found in abundance at the Ruins in West Province (Area One), and do not require any Ride Upgrades to access.

Armarouge Location

Only Found via Evolution

Armarouge can only be found by evolving Charcadet via the Evolution method above. If you have found another method to obtain Armarouge, please let us know in the comments!

Armarouge's Evolution Item is Exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet

You can only get Armarouge if you're playing Pokemon Scarlet, since the Auspicious Armor needed to evole Charcadet is exclusive to the game.

If you're playing Pokemon Violet, you can only evolve your Charcadet into Ceruledge with Malicious Armor instead. That's why we recommend trading with friends for Auspicious Armor with a Malicious Armor of your own.

Note that Armarouge's Moveset for the story greatly differs from its Competitive Moveset.

Armarouge Best Nature

Nature & Stat Changes Explanation
Modest
SpAtk, Attack
Special Attack Master

Having considerably high base SpAtk stat of 125, setting Armarouge's Nature to Modest can boost its SpAtk further all while holding Wise Glasses and using the move Calm Mind to deal devastating Special Moves.
Timid
Speed, Attack
Speedy Sweeper

Alternatively, since Armarouge's base SpAtk stat is already high, you can focus on improving its Speed stat instead by setting its Nature to Timid. That way, Armarouge can have increased chances of moving first and sweeping foes as quickly as possible.
